That one really does make no sense.

If you drop something, you need to go and pick it up ffs!

Isn't that the idea, though?

"My new album just dropped, go pick it up!"

Stop making sense of stupid sayings!

Oh and on a separate note, i find it incredibly annoying that i had to go and buy a separate CD/DVD-RW drive because it seems, PC manufacturers have decided that they no longer need to include one, and yet, the enclosed software (power2go) does not include the ability to actually burn a music CD even though that is what the sodding piece of hardware is supposed to do (no, that option requires a more expensive version of the software)!

It is a bit, but thats why I just use it at lunch when it is just less hassle to mix that up and drink it than making or cooking something. There are people that live off it and they are insane, but for me it works as a lunch as I didn't ever have anything interesting for lunhc often anyway and if I fancy something else I'll have it, but this is a good known amount of calories that I also know covers me nutritionally so for what I need its perfect.

I need to track what I eat and keep to around 1900 calories as a base line, obviously any exercise I do goes on top of that, but this way I have a nice solid "lunch will be 400" each day and work around that. Its meant I've maintained my weight for about 6 months since hitting my target of 82kg at the end of a long time dropping from 107kg.

It isn't traditional food and it isn't for everyone, but for me it works as a lunch as it is good for me nutritionally and is a known quantity for calories as well as being filling which prevents snacking.

Have you tried some alternative biscuit or cracker? I've eaten oatcakes or corn thins for lunch for about 12 years. Oatcake, humous, slice of cucumber. There's no sugar at all. Takes about 2 minutes to assemble and calorific content there is ridiculously low and more bioavailable nutrience including a bit of "5 a day". Oats are naturally sweet when your salviva breaks them down, you already eat porridge.

I'm 10.5 stone 5'10 and a half" and do basically no exercise besides walking which almost certainly means I'll end up with type 1 diabetes if I don't start a regular program.

I've had some in the past and im not a fan. Aside from anything I'm quite happy with Huel and quite like the flavours (I get the flavour boost things they do) today I have the apple cinnamon one so as the base I use is vanilla it tastes like that melted ice cream liquid you get at the end of a bowl of apple crumble and ice cream.

That would be because the "Audio CD" format is technically RedBook Audio which is licensable from Sony. So yeah there's a data CD and audio CD format which are different.

Stuff like Roxio or Nero used to do that, it's been a while but you could try ImgBurn or CDBurnerXP (the latter still actually works OK win7 at least despite the old name) the utilities I used to use for stuff like that. And Windows Media Player if it still exists used to burn audio CDs as well, you should still be able to download an old version, the only requirement was you had Windows Genuine Advantage which means you have to run a check to verify your Windows is genuine and presumably Microsoft paid the license for that.

Not all the time, there are some foods I do love but generally meal times are something I have to do rather than something I look forward to. At its worst (although this is rare) I see meal times as a hassle. I can cook, I do cook, for the most part I just don't enjoy it.

I occasionally have that issue with food, mainly because I have difficulty eating due to my disability, there's probably something like ten different 'proper' meals I can actually eat without the risk of choking and sometimes that gets quite boring.

I used to love food but these days it can be just something that is required but not really enjoyed.

On that note, does anyone else think bread has become a bit gooseberry fool lately? its not just the cheap white sliced stuff either, a lot of it has a really odd texture like you'd get with gluten free bread (my sister eats it, its hideous stuff).

You know my strawberry floating age already. You know everything about me!

Every time I get that, the drop downs have autopopulated the date and year of my birth, but never the month, so Steam definitely has a record of my DOB somewhere, but seemingly just refuses to use it.

Fun stuff, I think it's owing to American COPPA legalisation which mandates if any site contains "adult" content or certain sections are "adult" then those have to be gated with a declaration of age thing obviously achieving nothing but nonetheless they probably have to comply with it. Even if they prepolulate the field the end user still has to confirm it by clicking button or whatever.

Also you can view the trailers etc for something "adult" without buying the content or signing up anywhere, so they can't use credit card etc or they wouldn't be able to freely advertise most the games on steam or have a community aspect on the same domain.

All very silly, the age verification does nothing.

I can confirm that Windows media player does still exist and does indeed rip/burn audio CDs, including the flac format.

That's cool, never liked the cluttered and obnoxious styling of the old applications (besides a weird kind of retro appeal to Microsoft's awful dives into skeuomorphism) but it was useful for things where I couldn't be bothered to use specialised software that I'd bought or usually cracked.

There's a burning option in windows media player. Still seems ridiculous though that a burner does not include the relevant software needed to use all it's features.

This doesn't really annoy me but I find it really weird when people send you a message with a question, you reply straight away and they don't read it for ages.

It's the same people every time. Who asks a question and doesn't bother checking for a reply for hours?

On a similar note, when you just miss a call and immediately phone back and they don't answer, as if they've thrown their phone away in disgust.

That as well.

It's always the people that are permanently attached to their phones as well.

I don't know who needs to hear this but stop starting sentences with I don't know who needs to hear this. Say what you want to say and strawberry float off.
