It's funny you mention this, I had to slam the brakes on the other week because someone did this. They didn't look behind themselves. It scared the crap out of me.

A few weeks ago we were staying out in the Brecons and on our way back along a B road to our accomodation. Walking towards us in the road, but hugging the hedge as you should, was a group of people. All hugging the hedge save for the guy at the back, who was walking along a 60mph bit of road, in the middle of it with his head down reading his phone. Didn't even look up as we passed him having had to go on to the other side of the road to avoid him
