It's funny you mention this, I had to slam the brakes on the other week because someone did this. They didn't look behind themselves. It scared the crap out of me.

A few weeks ago we were staying out in the Brecons and on our way back along a B road to our accomodation. Walking towards us in the road, but hugging the hedge as you should, was a group of people. All hugging the hedge save for the guy at the back, who was walking along a 60mph bit of road, in the middle of it with his head down reading his phone. Didn't even look up as we passed him having had to go on to the other side of the road to avoid him :|

Today's social-media-posting irritation is people who end a post with "I'll wait".

Smug, arrogant pricks desperately hoping for someone to reply saying "oooh, so savage!!" who probably have the word 'sassy' somewhere in their bio.

Also, people who put BREAKING in their tweets, like they're the strawberry floating global media or something.

Very much 'old man yelling at cloud' stuff here, but all of these:

"That's so extra!"
"Ugh, that's so mid"
"This just hits different"
"That slayed me!"

Annoying little phrases that people use for a few months just because everyone else is using them, only to never say them again once they've fallen out of fashion a short while later.

When you put social media and America together, it becomes one giant bullshit factory.

We decided to get a takeaway tonight from a local Italian. It's always really nice, so I've been looking forward to it all week and didn't have a lot to eat for lunch so I'd be really hungry this evening.

I dropped mine immediately after opening it. All over the floor and the washing machine. :fp:

At least you got one but man, that sucks so bad

I've never known heartbreak as bad as the time our Indian turned up and my wife had forgotten to add my curry to the order.

Particularly in Lidl. You go in for Stella Artois and a baguette and walk out with an inflatable lawn mower.

Lidl is bad for this.

I went in for baps. Came out with baps, a multimeter and a ratcheting screwdriver.

The one that annoys me is ending something with ,actually. e.g.

I thought it was great, actually.
