[Rules p.1] Things that annoy you guys. 100 percent. Not gonna lie

I'm having horrific issues with Royal Mail at the moment. Before this year I don't think I ever knowingly had a piece of mail go missing. At the moment I am dealing with 2 outstanding pieces. It's got to the point now that I try and order from Amazon (even if it costs more) because at least their drivers don't mix my house up with another specific house (with a different street name and postcode) about 5% of the time.

Me replying like this is derailing the thread (well, sort of - I guess it does annoy me a bit!)

Orange, I think you're a good guy, and I don't want to have any sort of bad feeling whatsoever with you.

But.. this idea that highlighting name-calling is somehow a bad thing and is derailing the thread.... no. I feel that we should be far more passionate about not accepting the bad forum behaviour rather than being too concerned about a temporary interruption of chat.

A member has left the forum and it's starting to feel like this is being washed over.

With respect Jawa, there is also driving home a point of feedback repeatedly and inadvertently taking the purpose of the topic away; discussing a particular issue and giving that its own title and prevalence doesn't objectively devalue the problem or side step it by not insisting it must be discussed in what is essentially a topic for venting about personal struggles in life.

We are actively handling how to make this thread fulfil its purpose and allow people to discuss any debates they want to instigate with regards to the views of anybody on the forum. And yes I would invite you to please report posts you think need attention.

Apart form that, it's kind of wasting time with "yeah buts" and whataboutery which will set the topic on a cycle that is essentially a dialogue with "the site" / nebulous force that regulates What Is OK and Not OK on GRcade®, and I feel there is a sense that we won't do anything about it when we can and will. Discussing problems within the thread where a mod hasn't (or has) stepped in to try and arbitrate or settle disputes seems to fill a space that already exists as OR has pointed out, and that isn't merely a blackhole where problems are sent to die.

From the perspective of a guest browsing the forum, they see disagreements which is 100% normal, they see criticism and associated retorts or responses etc and then they see a meta dialogue with a mysterious force of people with coloured names, and my fear is that looks like something where you are better "out" than "in" because you may not want to get involved or even read all of that stuff (although I'm patently aware some people do enjoy that, hell, we have our own thread).

I have Beyblade on GameBoy colour in Japanese and I have absolutely no idea what the strawberry float is going on. I'm only aware of the franchise because of a terrible review in NGC magazine.

Actually that's the only reason I'm aware of GRcade, i.e. anything.

What I'm basically saying is, I have a diploma in NGC and I am inherently worthless without these things.

Gets Netflix to watch Squid Game, Squid Game freezes and stops 20 mins in because of a 12 hour Sky internet outage!

This is why i still prefer physical media.

NGC was great. Its bad reviews were legendary. IIRC that Beyblade game got something like 8%?

There's a guy on Niconico who mods beyblades in various ways to make them way more powerful than they should be. His videos are pretty cool.

What the strawberry float there are an increasing number of times that I feel I have lost all touch with modern society and this is certainly one of them.
