Not that I'm jealous.

What I want to know is why they chose to reveal themselves publicly. What on earth do they have to gain from doing that? The only thing I can think of is that people who know them outside their closest family/friendship groups will find out and be jealous, so is it essentially just the satisfaction of being able to boast about it to them? Or is there another benefit I'm not thinking of?

If we won anything like that, there's no way in hell anyone else would know about it, unless they see me running over Tories in my solid gold rocket car.

There's also a thing that if you don't go public you can only get it in small installments per month and if the value is high enough there's no guarantee you'll ever get all of it before you die.

That's not true in the UK.

Oh wow I didn't know that, I guess it must be another country I heard that about. I thought it was a UK thing.
