Travel anxiety. I've packed and repacked 5 times now. Just to make sure I have everything. Probably going to get a couple more attempts in before I set off. Genuinely feel like crying but can't stop myself from doing it

I would recommend getting a list you can tick off. I had a bit of this when I started to travel and I found it enormously helpful to have something I could refer to. It helped my (very) weird brain deal with it. I still have it, but not to the same extent.

Also, unless you are going somewhere remote, you can always purchase something if you happen to forget it. But you won't need to if you use a list.

I also have to make a list, and check it off as I pack. Managed to curb the need to check by telling myself the worst possible thing that could happen is I have to buy something at the destination.

Thanks guys, I do make lists and it helps mitigate a bit but then I don't trust it even though I logically should.

Anyway, I managed to pack and get away so I'm in Japan for the next 7 days

I pressed the glowing Xbox logo button and it just took me to the console menu. 1/10 game.

I'm more annoyed with the fact it's getting bright in my area. It's so bright in the mornings I get woken up by the sun. :x

Nice sunny day here. Neighbouring cats are lounging in my garden. I've got nothing to be annoyed about, and that's annoying.

You can get curtains with black-out material woven into them. I use them and it really helps from March to October.

You still get a little bit of light above and below, but it's way better than regular curtains.

I should've bought blackout curtains to begin with but I was trying to save money annoyingly. I did buy like blackout material to stick on the windows but I've always been too lazy to set it up and by the time I go to do it I'm already used to it. It's just in March I have issues while my body gets used to the change. :fp: :slol:

Blinds are best I find, you can move the light around a bit without having to totally shut it out. Then if you want total blackout, draw the curtains as well as close the blinds.

I have those, they also help a little in keeping the worst of the heat out when i get blasted by the sun every evening during hot weather thanks to my west facing window.

I have black out curtains and yet I'm using an SAD light to wake me up in the mornings

Again... People losing their strawberry floating minds on a mobile phone, pacing back and forth in the same street/block yelling continuously. This has been going on for like 30 minutes. Legit actually screaming into the phone.

Just strawberry float off and have your epic meltdown / "anger/loud fixes/convinces everything" in a park or on the beach or whatever. I can't understand how people can operate like this as an adult (even if I can, and obviously they have their issues). I can understand getting pissed off or angry for a moment over something but zero awareness of doing that for half an hour is mind boggling.

Speaking to someone like that isn't going to fix anything. It's so loud I can't imagine the voice actually translating to anything but distortion on the other end. Like I can hear them echoing down the street from what seems to be 100+ feet away before they come back and on and on it goes. Bizarre.

From time to time people seem to choose somewhere fairly docile to do this presumably because there isn't anyone to react to them. Except their is, indoors. Ugh. If you need your environment to check in for you to realise you're off your nut then for goodness sake please see a doctor before you implode.
