Just start opening everything that comes, blame it on the kids/dog/day drinking. You can post images here of what turns up, and we can play sex toy bingo.

I reckon those 'magic wand' things would feel pretty good regardless of which set of genitalia you have.

When Netflix decides to hide the "Continue watching" section of their UI and so you have to go hunting for the show you're clearly still in the middle of watching whilst they try and shove a million and one other strawberry floating things on your face

The "Everyone's Watching" section annoys me. Funny how anything I even slightly show an interest in quickly appears in "everyone's watching". Even if it's old.

Another smashed parcel from Royal Mail. :slol:

This time porcelain jars. Double boxed, parcel tape, cardboard, a whole roll of bubblewrap, fragile stickers all over the place, Special Delivery (£17!)...and they still smashed it to smithereens. I'm convinced there must be vindictive people at Royal Mail that blatantly do this on purpose. They see big red FRAGILE stickers on something and that's an excuse to drop a bomb on it.

I honestly don't know how you're supposed to even send stuff like this any more, it's just utterly hopeless.

It happened a few times when we had just moved in. Twice it was someone ordering crates of wine. FFS aren't you going to not want to carry that? Also kind of embarrassing (to be fair they were buying bulk to save money). The 2nd time they took ages to collect.

I recently received a taste card for the person who sold this place to the landlord. It's on my fridge, and I'm very tempted to use it, because strawberry float them, how did they forget that they SOLD the address over two years ago that they registered with? As if they have too much money to even check their subscriptions.

Today I’ve been bed shopping. Found one I liked at B and Q online shop.
Went to buy it and checked it accepted vouchers and gift cards…it did.
So then I go to my work discount site and get £250 of vouchers for buying this item. 5% discount is why I do it.

Get to checkout and they won’t accept the vouchers….needless to say I’m annoyed. I go to their t and c and the reason they don’t accept is because it’s a ‘verified distributor’ selling the item and not b and q themselves….argh annoying but ok…I’ll see what beds b and q are sellling…..Guess what…NONE. NONE. In fact 70% of heir strawberry floating website is these independent sellers selling gooseberry fool under the guise of b and q. What the hell, fair enough to do it. But if you’re gonna base your entire website as a tradesmen’s marketplace, at least accept the strawberry floating gift cards under your name.
I call them and they tell me they can’t do anything in the phone but to go into the shop and they should either A- refund me the gift card cash.
Or B- buy me the bed I wanted through their system and transfer the gift card balance somehow.

I drive 20mins to the shop….go to their customer assistant on the only till available…and ask her to do this….drawing blood from a stone. She won’t do it, she has no way to do it, she calls her manager and he won’t sort it either. They basically tell me to piss off and go back to online shop.

I wouldn’t have minded this if the online shop hadn’t already sent me to the strawberry floating shop.

Absolute joke, how can businesses get away with such poor customer service. And now it’s something I’ll keep in my head and likely avoid b and q for many years to come.
The silver lining is that my brother has just got a new house and is currently doing a lot….so he said he’ll buy the gift card off me.

Thank gawd.

Use it, as you say they can't even keep track of their stuff.

Package is still here. She came home not long after it got delivered, and instead of just coming and getting it, she just ignored it. A friend of theirs parked and blocked a neighbours drive, and that neighbour had to knock on her door to get her to move. She then move that car in front of our house, instead of parking ON THE EMPTY DRIVE in front of her own place. Then she went to the neighbours house and picked a large parcel up off her, so she KNEW there was a parcel there and only got it becuase she got dragged out of the house. STILL then didn't just come over and get the one from us. strawberry floating lazy twats.

I mean if you ordered something why wouldn't you want to go get it. I don't get that mentality.

If I take in parcels for neighbours then I wait for them to come and get it. I just stick 'em in the garage out of the way. Neighbours here usually come and get them same day though.

I live in a small block of flats so if something gets dropped to me end of the work day I drop off their stuff at their door so they get it on the way back. Never had any complaints about doing it but I also don't have to walk far to drop it off and it's all inside behind a locked door.

poshrule_uk wrote:I mean if you ordered something why wouldn't you want to go get it. I don't get that mentality.

The person who left a note with them may have forgot to say where they dropped it or left a completely cryptic note that you can't even read to be fair.
