I agree.

I've been invited by a nice chap to go to the cinema in Cheltenham on Friday. Going INTO Cheltenham. On Race Friday

I'd reschedule.

He's offered to come across to Gloucester instead. He's a thirsty thing :datass:

No, it's the inbred degenerate locals (they make my neighbours look normal) who treated me like dirt, the total lack of basic facilities, and the choked high street with no shops, tiny pavements, and massive HGV's trying to sweep you off them.

I'll leave it there as if i continue to list all my reasonings in fine detail i'll be here all day, so i'll just sum up by saying i spent many, many hours stuck there in my late teens/early 20's, i was miserable, it's a fleapit.

Bognor's a dive, but i don't openly detest it like i do Axminster.

You've just described all seaside towns that aren't in the New Forest or deepest Cornwall.

I hate people who make everything urgent in general. Nothing is urgent to start with strawberry float off. It's only urgent because you sat there doing strawberry float all.

That entire coast line from Southampton to Hove blurs into one gigantic neglected hole. If it wasn't for Brighton it would continue in that fashion until you got just passed Felixstow and into the Sussex Coast. Then it would start up again as you hit Lowestoft and continue again until you hit Yorkshire. There's no money in the coastal communities any longer and therefore no investment; we just send our old people there to die.

I'm generalising and using a bit of hyperbole but as a whole the coastal communities are not invested in properly and just left to slowly decay.

I had this on the weekend. My business is closed on the weekend, it clearly says this on Google and well it's a national tradition for any service-oriented business. Why the strawberry float should anybody be available to meet on the weekend for business purposes, nevermind if they willingly employ themselves so they can choose not to be?

I've never had a boss bother me on the weekend so why do customers think you should do stuff? It's weird.

And then on Tuesday - no I am not around for an appointment this evening. strawberry float off. Not only do I happen to be ill, I have 100 other things to do than be available at your beckon call because you're bored or are trying to do all your gooseberry fool in the evening or something else. Book an appointment.

I can't ever really figure out whether it's to do with social media or livechat or 24hr hotlines or whatever (staffed in different timezones), or the idea that because it's just one person, not a big busy company they have more time? It makes no practical sense. If anything it's the total opposite.

It's also weird how vernacular constantly flips (often from the same person) from "I know you must be super busy, but..." to "are you available in [less than 6 hours from time of e-mail/call etc)]"? Make your mind up how available you want me to be!!
