12pm is the socially accepted time yes but lot depends on when you start.

If you’re in at 8am, and had breakfast at 7am, waiting until 12pm is a big gap between meals.

I just eat my food when I want to throughout the day at my desk. It doesn't impede my ability to work.

Well they can park their overpaid, fat arses on this mid-digit and swivel — swivel 'til they squeal like pigs on a honeymoon!

Geek Annoyance!

The fact that tab completing in the windows command prompt doesn't put a closing slash on a directory like any sane operating system terminal would. Makes navigating around so much more annoying and slow! :x

And that wraps up everything I know about powershell.

Haha, true Powershell is an improvement in many ways (and modern windows lets you use a Linux terminal :toot: )

Sadly I'm stuck on a fairly ancient and under-populated machine for what I'm doing right
now and it has basically zero useful tools on it!

I actually only happened to know about tab completion as I've been playing around with the new Windows Terminal and WSL like 2 hours ago

The Lib Dems. They keep sending me stuff through the post, despite me having gone onto their website before specifically to opt-out of gooseberry fool like this. :fp:

My cup of tea.

Was carrying it towards my bed when I dropped it... and, in trying to "catch" it, knocked it further away from me. The tea ended up on the bed, down the side of the bed, on the wall, on the bedside table, down the back of the table, in my bedside light, on my watch, keys, book, and clock, in some plug sockets and on the carpet.

How can one cup have so much liquid in it?

My mum once threw a full glass of beer over me when she tried to bat away a wasp that flew into her face, it was one of those involuntary reaction moments but everyone around thought she'd intentionally done it and sat staring in stunned silence.
