 I saw that episode just 2 days ago.

I actually just used 20p of Skype credit to call the agency in New York City, waited on hold, spoken to a real person, and then email them about digital rights and tell them to essentially strawberry float off in legalese.

If I get another newsletter in a year when this prick changes systems yet again, I'll get them to print and mail me one of those massive subject access request documents. If they fail to do that, they'll get fined.

This twat makes hundreds of thousands of dollars in realtor sales anyway.

It's just one of those pet bugbears I guess. I despise the mass processing of data by venture-capital based marketing/advertising platforms, but most of all those which are completely and utterly useless to me!

You see, these big email lists are out there, sure, I accept that. but you can't legally download and send spam with them. This guy is obviously doing that. It's that which annoys me. Not just newsletters in general, a lot of those I signed up for or just get blocked by spam filters.

The worst spam is the spam that basically spoofs legitimate spam, but isn't consensual. That can only happen because of one person being a giant dick and emailing every address they've ever seen. In other words, personal, deliberate data hoarding.

As everyone knows, I run a business, I have an email list, and I have never, not even once, sent a newsletter out, for five years.

Now to get on with the rest of my day, having sharpened my typewriter skills.

:dread: I knew the name but hadn't clicked. At least, that particular show is co-written with Dylan Moran, and Bill Bailey is probably the best part of it.

Linehan is only involved in the first series as well as far as I recall so it's one of the safer things to watch that he's had involvement in!

Thing is, I've not been able to devote myself full time to the old transphobism.

I suppose it also depends who the rights-holder is. If for example that's something commissioned by C4, and they have the copyrights, and there's no royalties agreement, the money is going to a faceless corporation rather than a questionable individual.

Specifically for context, it's on Netflix at the moment.

Posted in another thread but I feel like it belongs here more

Been looking for decent quality TV unit and can safely say I won't be getting one for Oak Furniture Land.

They all look like utter arse and take ages (15 weeks for the least gooseberry fool looking ones)to be delivered due to being "Hand crafted"

Ikea can strawberry float off too.

I've put in a complaint to the Post Office because I was told they couldn't accept a Tracked 48 parcel I had already paid for on the RM website because "It says Royal Mail on the label and we're the Post Office...we don't accept Click and Collect you need to take it to a Royal Mail depot". Huh? After refusing to budge on the mater, she said I had to pay for ParcelForce Express48 instead (more expensive, isn't that convenient). So I begrudgingly did and I've put in for a refund with RM.com. Meanwhile, she then went on to accept 3 Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For parcels from me which I'd also already paid for online. Obviously.

I've asked the Post Office to clarify this BULLSHIT.

I honestly thought they were one and the same. Absolutely ridiculous that they wouldn't take it.

She's already swiped the money and didn't commit it to record. In a year's time, she'll be retiring early with more than a million from the difference between RM 48 and PF 48.

More and more, we are learning that the people who create the things we enjoy are complete banana splits. And we have to decide whether we want to deny ourselves the things we enjoy, which has strawberry float all effect on the aforementioned banana splits, or continue to enjoy stuff while also thinking "that dude is a banana split".

Tracked 24 and 48 are online-only purchases via Click & Drop or eBay etc and they have to go to a delivery office to get put straight into the system instead of Post Office where they hold collections, for some reason.

Normal Royal Mail 1st and 2nd class have the same delivery timescales but have no tracking or signature.

RM 1st and 2nd Class Recorded don't have any tracking, only signature and delivery confirmation.

She's right that they don't accept them unfortunately but yeah it doesn't make much sense really.

Unfortunately there's a bit of a myth as well - Post Office and Royal Mail are separate companies. Royal Mail provide delivery services but Post Office do banking, insurance and a bunch of other stuff in collaboration with the government. The confusion arises because Royal mail used to be a nationalised company and so it made sense to be able to process/access some government service stuff through a Post office branch - including Royal Mail deliveries/post, but they were always separate and still are.

They're not always helpful though. I've probably mentioned the time a parcel of mine had split a bit and I needed some tape. No tape apparently so as my post office has been moved from an old purpose built Crown post office building to WHSmiths concession, they told me to go and buy some tape from Smiths instead. Which is like £2, strawberry float that.

I just print off the scripts, erect a camera, and reenact the scenes out myself.

On the subject of using the suffix of 'phobia' to describe actual hate of a specific group of individuals, its utterly stupid and there needs to be a better term for it.

I think it's fairly reasonable for someone to have an irrational fear of something (homosexuality for example) they don't really understand without actually hating it.

Lineham is obviously an utter thundercunt though.
