There's a woman in my office who has the most disgusting cough you have ever heard, it sounds like she's got swamp lung or something. So wet and thick, when she starts the whole office goes quiet and you can hear her struggling with this lump of phlegm coming up her lungs and into her gob. She's had it for about 2 years but doesn't seem to be interested in getting it sorted. So gross :dread:

I've recently got annoyed by Amazon question and answers....

For example;

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ask/questions/ ... pmw_al_hza

Question : Is the spiral and car launcher compatible with this?

Answer : I’m really sorry I don’t know I bought it as a gift sorry again

Why the strawberry float would you even write that out? If you don't know, then you don't write anything.

Here is another one....

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ask/questions/ ... pmw_al_hza

Question : Can I post it to New Zealand

Answer : It's very heavy

That wasn't the damn question. It's either yes or no. I don't want to hear your strawberry floating opinion about the weight. I want to know if I can send it too New Zealand. I'll pay the postage.

Almost every product on Amazon has these stupid answers....

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ask/questions/ ... pmw_al_hza

Question : What are the dimensions for it when it is built? Thanks

Answer : Sorry was bought as a gift so I do not know but does the description not have size

Answer : Not sure as I bought this item for a present

I think (although not completely sure) people get emailed questions directly and old people who don't quite grasp technology reply

Yes you usually get an email saying, "as an owner of item x, can you answer this question?".

The real reason people do it, is because if you leave enough reviews thst are deemed helpful, you can get put into Amazon's reviewer programme whereby you are given items for free in exchange for a review.

The problem you are experiencing is that 99% of the world's population are barely able to read and write.

Those aren't even the worst. I've seen loads of ocassions of simply "I don't know sorry". :fp:

Think yourself lucky, a couple of years back i was pre-ordering movies from Amazon, i was paying £1.50 a time for 'first class' delivery, and every time the items were either several days late, or never arrived at all.

Amazon have done the same thing to me on my last few orders.

What's worse though is them taking an order on Friday, saying they'll deliver on Saturday, then changing that to Wednesday a few hours later and then finally delivering it on Tuesday. Which is exactly what they have done with my £650 monitor which is apparently in a "safe place". An interesting notion as you can't put anything in the garden as the fence is too high and the alleyway is used by my neighbour and can be accessed from a fairly busy street.

So if anyone is on the look out for a monitor. :dread:

Tell them you didn't receive it, as you didn't specify a safe place. It's Amazon responsibility to honour that loss. Also, anything over £100 needs a signature. Looks like you got a xmas present on Jeff

It's madness...I wonder how many drivers just say strawberry float it, ditch the van, and get the train home? I've been tempted many times

It annoys me that my partner always dilutes the last bit of shampoo in the bottle with water, I assume he does it to get every bit out of the bottle but I just pour it away, we always have at least 3 or 4 full bottles in the cupboard anyway

Does each bottle come wrapped in a flag?
