Her facebook page says she's 'a part time working mummy'

She even took the kid to the nursery last friday during the blizzard, then moaned because the nursery closed early.

Tell her that if having kids is such a strawberry floating inconvenience to her, she should let them be adopted by someone who is actually capable of giving a gooseberry fool about them.

That's somewhat presumptious, all they wanted was some quality educational playtime despite the snowgeddon.

Are you sure potatoes are veg? Aren't they not earth, but like salt? I mean, tomatoes are fruit and potatoes are ... bread?

Like when they fed all the cows to the other cows in the 90s and we got, what was it, super burgers?

Splinters.

One for forgetting or not bothering to wear handling gloves when doing carpentry. Two for getting the strawberry floaters out piece by piece. But mostly three for gauging your skin out in the process, and that getting infected which is 10x worse than just letting the strawberry floater stay in there to begin with. Been washing it out with TCP and it still isn't really any better than it was in the morning and it's on my right index/mouse/button/trigger/writing finger.

I get cuts all the time because I work with scalpels and stuff but either my body just has shite or overactive white blood cells or for some reason I'm terrible with puncture wounds. Why do the tiniest wounds always piss you off the most? That's annoying.

Stood at a zebra crossing with a child in a tricycle and five cars ignore me. They had to slow down due to the traffic and not a single one of the banana splits stopped.

That sucks, dude. Whenever I see a parent and child (or especially if it's just a child) waiting to cross I always stop. I figure I'd rather know for sure that they're going to get across safely with me letting them cross than them try and risk it or their kid run out or something. Plus I know if I was crossing the road with my daughter I'd want someone to be nice and let us cross.

People can be such arseholes, seems like the majority of the population just don't give a gooseberry fool about anyone else.

They don't have to stop until you step onto the crossing, so obviously you should have just pushed the tricycle out into oncoming traffic and trusted in their strict obeyance to the letter of the law

I had a load of driving lessons in a part of London with dozens of zebra crossings, and I was always told by my instructor that if a pedestrian is waiting you have to stop. A quick Google confirms that's not actually the law, but I imagine examiners take a dim view of it so he may have been training me for the test and instilling courteous driving behaviour into me.

I know some zebra crossings are in silly places like near roundabouts. In that situation I understand that the driver is actually doing quite a lot on the roundabout and may have their attention split so much they may not see someone waiting. This, however, was on a straight 20mph road in between a park and a nursery with no parked cars blocking visibility.

The fact that I missed a Peep Show quote off in this thread.

It was a joke Mark. A Christmas joke.

The opposite is worse - people who are just standing around at a crossing with no intention of using it and who look at you like you're a moron for stopping to let them not cross. Just strawberry float off literally a metre in any direction and everything is fine.
