There's someone who works for the Movember Foundation (yes it has it's own foundation!) who has the same name as me so every year in and around the time of Movember I get a bunch of emails asking me all about it. :dread:

It's gone completely off the radar in my neck of the woods, I did it about 5 years ago.

Yeah Prime adverts are a piss take that's going toe to toe with their gooseberry fool UI for the "worst thing about Prime Video" title.

Prime video is absolute banana split.

Total shite interface, slow clunky, repeated irrelevant content on the front page, the stuff you've been watching previously is nowhere to be found, UHD content seemingly hidden until you directly search for it by name, most of the good stuff hidden behind another paywall, scanning back and forth results in a jumpy inaccurate stop.

Compare it to Netflix and it's a total joke.

"Your Amazon delivery is 8 stops away"
Map shows delivery driver literally a hundred meters around the corner going the opposite direction.

What kind of shitty route planning do they have

They're terrible for doing stuff like that. And I swear they have a cup of tea at every place they stop at. Sometimes the tracker stays still for more than five minutes at a time and then moves from the position it had remained at, so you know it's not just faulty tracking.

I can only imagine the drivers are given a route/delivery order by Amazon and because of their position being tracked they aren't allowed to deviate from it.

I can't speak for Amazon drivers, but with other couriers I've spoken to, their delivery device thing often doesn't let them scan in a package before a scheduled time, which leaves them sitting around between deliveries.

If that is the case for Amazon drivers as well, I can understand the wait between deliveries. Thing is, though, it probably impacts the drivers a lot from making more deliveries. I know such a system is in place to stop abuse of the overall system, as you know there'd be some drivers trying to get easy money without such restrictions, but it also stops maximum efficiency from ever happening (depending on how long the waits are, of course, but even a minute per delivery still adds up).

Yeah, it's one of the biggest gripes I've heard from people in the field, particularly those who are paid per parcel. As you say, surely being able to make more deliveries in a day is beneficial to all parties.

That queue for the Pokemon Centre pop up in Westfield today was bloody ridiculous! I took one look at it and decided not to even try as i would likely have been still waiting there now.

Nintendo should just open a big permanent store in the west end (like Lego and M&M's) and be done with it.

Yeah it sucks mate, I'd love one of those bowler hat pikachus, but they won't sell them on their web shop or make enough to satisfy demand.
