Football pundits have been annoying me recently. Jermaine Jenas in particular. He was okay when he first started out as a pundit, but recently he's become very arrogant, seemingly thinking that he's the authority on football. As an average footballer and average pundit, I don't know why he has such a high opinion of himself. Other than Ian Wright and Chris Sutton, I'm struggling to think of any pundits that I actually like. 5 Live in particular seem to go out of their way to pick people who are annoying to listen to or just repeat cliches ad nauseam. You've got Michael Brown with his annoying voice and uninspired views, Stephen Warnock with his annoying voice and dull cliches, Micah 'let me just namedrop who I used to play with' Richards, Clinton Morrison who can barely string a coherent sentence together, Chris Waddle, Danny Mills...ugh. They occasionally get someone interesting or intelligent on, but that seems to be the exception. At least they've got rid of Kevin Kilbane and Steve Claridge. Robbie Savage needs to be next out the door - just awful.

They were using male pronouns when they recorded the Bond theme. Plus I think it is only bigots that get triggered when somebody accidently misgenders somebody.

I actually read something the other day saying that Jenas was being lined up to replace Lineker.

Chris Sutton is a "them foreign lads" gaffe waiting to happen. strawberry floating awful pundit.

For me he's quite funny because he's so miserable all the time. Plus the dymanic between him, Ian Wright, and Mark Chapman on the Monday Night Club is great.

Watch the fantastic opening scene (set during Day of the Dead in Mexico) and then switch it off before the opening titles. You’ll thank me.

Ah nah I like Sutton, he is miserable as strawberry float but that makes him entertaining to watch when he gets embroiled in arguments. Plus he's a big advocate of scottish football / winds up rangers fans.
