I could honestly stab someone in the back hand with a fork when they're eating in a disgusting manner. Someone I used to work with would suck every one of his fingers after eating each mouthful of a sandwich (as he held it with two hands). Every strawberry floating time. It was just disgusting. Right down the whole length of each finger (context). What are you possibly getting out of that? strawberry floating pig.

Someone I know also makes the most disgusting noises while they eat. Mouth open, snorting, coughing, throat clearing, breathing through the nose like a knackered vacuum cleaner.

Ugh. I remember back when my dad used to have a lovely habit of licking his fingers just before emptying the dishwasher. You'd see his sticky fingerprints all over the tops of the knives and forks in the cutlery draw.

Not to mention wiping his mouth on the hand towel after eating.

I'm amazed I ended up as hygienic and well-mannered as I am after being raised by him.

My auntie used to eat a roast dinner with her hands. It was strawberry floating gross and used to turn my stomach.

I could understand if you've got a chicken leg, or something else on the bone, using your hands to eat that, but a whole dinner? What about the gravy, the vegetables? :dread:

Tip the plate up and pour it in like some kind of human dustbin

It was so gross. She was one for running her hands through food before picking any out.

Bowl of peanuts - take some off the top? Nah, scoop the hand in and grab the ones touching the bottom of the bowl.

Another person I know will dip something in a dip (Say celery in a herb dip), bite the part that has the dip on, suck any remaining dip from the celery and then dip it again, putting her slob in the dip.

I can't eat around many people.

I've not seen this episode, but I like to eat Mars bars with cutlery. I like cutting them into little slices.

Some pubs/restaurants construct burgers in such a way that they basically collapse when you pick them up, or try to, so using cutlery is just simpler from the get go.

Have to agree here, although I agree that burgers should be eaten by hand, some are just so big they need to be broken down.
