I just think people are desperate to escape the rat race of their 9-5 existence and look forward to their weekend. Friday is the gateway to a happier place.

Friday is not the best day, it’s just the best of the working days.

Saturday kicks the utter gooseberry fool out of Friday.

And even Sunday manages to kick Friday in the bollocks after Saturday has knocked it out.

For me Friday is the most bearable of the weekdays, and Friday night is the best time of the week simply because it's the furthest point from when you're next in work. Saturday's the best day of the week on the whole though. Dat Saturday morning feeling. :datass:

I might have to do a poll on days of the week.

The days of the week in proper order are:

Saturday – The King of Days, the undisputed champion of 24 hour periods.

Sunday – A poor mans Saturday, but still awesome enough for second place.

Friday – Meh it’s usually a working day, but you can almost taste the awesomeness of Saturday

Monday – A controversial choice, but I don’t work on Mondays anymore so it slots in here for pure selfish reasons. It get’s beaten by Friday though as at least on Friday I don’t have a whole week ahead of me.

Wednesday – AKA hump day (I bet Ad7 loves that), the start of the slide down to the weekend.

Thursday – An absolute nothing of a day. The only slightly interesting thing about it is you know the next day is Friday, which shows it has absolutely nothing going for it in its own right. strawberry float off Thor.

Tuesday – First day of the working week for me. strawberry float off Tuesday, strawberry float off.

Whilst I work the usual Mon-Fri, I actually find Tuesday the worst day of the week. I'm usually really busy on Monday so it goes quickly, but Tuesday (much like its ugly cousin, Thursday) is a complete drag that has no redeeming qualities.

Monday - Awful, strawberry float it. Hate going in, always busier as everyone comes in after the weekend and thinks everything looks different so call 100x a day.

Tuesday - Slightly less awful, but all the people who had Monday off suddenly start calling for the same reason as above.

Wednesday - Halfway thrrough the week, starts to get quieter and you start to feel on top of things.

Thursday - Why the strawberry float am I here, why the hell have all these people waited until today to mentiion their problems and then complain we haven't done anything?

Friday - We're almost over, a lot of our clients are Jewish companies/charities so they shut at 12PM and it gets nice and quiet so we can clear what we've been stuck working on.

Saturday - Best day of the week, actually feels like you can relax.

Sunday - Fine up until about 3PM when you suddenly realise, gooseberry fool it's Monday tomorrow.

Mixed feelings about Friday. I'm at my lowest in terms of energy, so I feel pretty grumpy towards the end of the week. But leaving work is a great feeling.

I'm another person who experiences Sunday dread. It usually kicks in 4pm.

Not for me, I sort of prefer Friday as I get up knowing 2 days of lay ins to look forward to and the end of work is in sight. By comparison, some of Sunday is spent thinking "bastard work tomorrow". Nuts, I know, but at a psychological level, Friday > Sunday for me.

Sundays require a very delicate balance of not doing too much or having too much fun (because the day will go quickly and it'll be Monday sooner) but also not being too lazy or unimaginative that you feel like you've wasted the day. First world problems FTW.
