So my brother has stolen from me again out of my mother's home in the last couple of months before he has finally moved out (although that'll be the 4th time I think). This time a £400 music keyboard, I was storing because it weighs 40kg and is massive, literally the single thing I don't have "safe" in my own home at the moment. So he really wanted to "lend" (ie sell / exchange) this one, as it was up 2 flights of 12 stairs and 2 landings.
... And or course all his abandoned gooseberry fool that he doesn't want (like 5 guitars) is still there. Why not give
that away if nobody is using it?

Just makes me feel ill really. It's not nice being robbed by your own sibling who you try as hard as you can to love unconditionally.
I won't be able to afford a replacement for the foreseeable future and I originally paid for it with my own hard earnt cash from a website job when I was 17. That's right, i earnt and paid for it and kept it safe and used it for 10 years. I have literally no money and depend on some assets (it's even in my business plan) as security to sell off if everything goes wrong. So that's another few hundred punted over to some random banana split I don't know.
Sigh. Don't really know what else to say. A grown man, 26 years old, really has a problem pulling this gooseberry fool multiple times with the people who should respect the most and be considerate towards the most.
If I don't get it back politely, I think I'll go small courts with this one. Police won't do anything because it's lawful access. But I can attach the original receipt I still have and demand compensation like any private person can.
I'll get a strawberry floating writ if I have to. Eventually you have to be resolute dealing with the most morally bankrupt fuckwits, even if they're family.
It worries me where this attitude is supposed to lead in the future. Does anyone else struggle to comprehend how pig headed their kin can be?
By the way, I did get my vintage guitar amp back that he stole and "gave away"/"used" or whatever the strawberry float definition of personal property this moron has. It only took me 7 years!! I played with it and almost cried.
These aren't just knick knacks. They're often serious investments that cost as much as an old car. Depriving artists of tools and musical instruments is a seriously cunty thing to do, and in both cases
he doesn't even have a use for them but gets "kudos" for giving other people's gooseberry fool away - to people who don't even know where it's from, as he just claims otherwise.
