Sometimes they happen more than once a year, other times as i said, a very long period can pass, but when one does strike, that's me finished for the rest of the day.

Does this mean i also had a fake upset stomach a few weeks back?

There is no way so many people in the same office are suffering these, and I wish I could expose the bastards.

It’ll make them have 2 or 3 days off at a time rather than just the 1 day.

Sadly, my migraines tend to hit me out of office hours :(

I think I rank The Bradford Factor only slightly below Myers-Briggs on my "list of terrible things workplaces use to manage their staff"

You should just be more sicker and stop complaining about being able to work.

Seriously though don't they lose pay? If it's a genuine problem it's a shitty thing to have your body force you out of financial security in some instances.

I think migraines are increasingly common due to stress and information overload. Get off your bloody phones.

I don't think it even matters if people pull a sicky now and then provided they work the normal amount of well days. It might even make them more productive because they're not paranoid about getting ill. Isn't the average people are sick 40 days per year or something so just use that a fair measurement and whether they're genuinely ill or not who cares. If you make people feel gooseberry fool about it they're just going to resent you but if you say "ok you're ill no problem" as long as you're not hiring useless idiots in the first place they will probably feel bad about it on their own and not do it too often. Only a bad employee if not genuinely ill employee is going to repeatedly take sick days and that's a hiring problem, they shouldn't be part of the workforce to begin with.

I get weird headaches that cause my eyesight to mess up, but I don't know if they're classed as migraines as the headache seems to go quickly. My eyesight stays messed up for the rest of the day. I don't get them very often either.

Remove your eyes, there is a driver conflict with your brain.

People who litter. There's never an excuse for it, and it's a great indicator of a selfish twat. Whether it's dropping cigarettes or chucking stuff out of a car window (I've seen a lot of this recently :x ), it really grinds my gears. Take some responsibility and don't be an inconsiderate cretin FFS. :fp:

I detest litter. Some drivers round my way just chuck food waste and packaging out of their car windows and there are people living in my flats that drop rubbish on our own grounds. Absolute morons.

I sometimes chuck banana skins but that's it.

Do you see weird lights which start off at a single point then spread around the edges of your vision? If so then that is a Migraine aura, and usually lasts around 20 minutes before clearing, but after that the eyesight can remain a bit fuzzy for the rest of the day even if the headache isn't too severe.

When i get a migraine, i find the aura to be the worst part.

I do, it's like when someone uses flash on a camera and you keep seeing it for a while. It gets bigger and bigger and then i get the pain and the fuzzy vision.
