Works payroll department!

They didn't apply a tax code to me when I started so have been paying double the tax I should and due to it now cjnaging tax year getting back is become a grey area when it comes to time scale.....

Really can't afford to be out of pocket this month especially when it is due to someone not doing their job properly!

What I like about the tax office is that if they owe you something you'll get it, but no rush. A few years back I got a mysterious payment in my account and once I found where it was from (from the tax office by mistake) and contacted them, they said I had to pay them back immediately and penalties if I didn't, like it was somehow my strawberry floating fault.

Yeah good aint it, they have a button on the webpage that says "see if I am owed a refund" you click it and it says "in the coming months we will review if you require a refund" its like thanks for that, but I know I am owed it you can see my tax code, you can see how much I paid on my account its not rocket science to have a bibbler add some gooseberry fool together the data is all there on may account!

They've changed the legislation on benefits so that even if you are paid, and it's a departmental error, you still have to pay that back. It used to written off if it was found to be a mistake.

Sounds like the HMRC have followed suit as well. Or maybe they were the first ones to have that.

Probably, they do have a webchat which just said they once my work send a P60 they will look at working out how much I may get back so it is just a waiting game.

I didn't have a problem paying them back (it was about 4k after all) but given that I informed them of it, rather than being semi-threatening about it I assumed they would have thanked me for bringing it to their attention. Who knows if they'd have ever found out if I hadn't informed them.

Yep, definitely sounds like a migraine aura to me as that's pretty much what i experience, you might want to get confirmation from a doc though as that's what i did.

I don't get any visual disturbance when I get a a migraine, mine start with a pain behind my eyes and nose which gradually gets worse until I feel extremely nauseous and begin to vomit.

Last one was on New Years Eve which resulted in me going to bed at 10.00pm and missing the whole thing.

The first time i had one it was with the aura (as it has been every time since) and i had absolutely no idea what it even was which as you can imagine, completely freaked me out.

HAPYEST DAY OV ARE LIEVS XXX

Those that remember this from a while back, there was an interesting development with this. They send a replacement straight out and didn't give a gooseberry fool about the above one, so we went to recycle it yesterday, took the wrapping off so it could go in the paper bin and it actually had our photos inside, so it was just the cover printed incorrectly  :fp:

Upshot is there's several nice big a3 prints in there we wanted to get framed, so we can just cut them out of this book now.
