#2 is a nice brew.

This, nothing is better than drinking in a beer garden on a warm summers night.

I have been there more than a few times! I used to live ten mins walk (though the Greenwich tunnel).

It's about 50 yards down the lane from the Trafalgar.

Trafalgar Tavern wins I'm afraid!

Edit: Actually sorry Matrix. I take that back. Confusing it with the Yacht. Haven't been to the Cutty Sark. Will try and check it out next time I'm back in the area (but sadly unlikely to happen what with me knowing the Mrs will insist on the Trafalgar for sentimental reasons).

A free afternoon and evening, lovely weather, a leisurely read through GRcade and then a wander down the road to grab some lunch. Simple pleasures :-).

Smiling twice in two days? I really must stop this.

Today, it's due to the film Lost in Translation. I just *love* it... the story, the acting, the environments, the script, the ending (which seems completely open to your own interpretation) and, especially, the music.

So smiley.

I am querying a payment with Microsoft at the moment using their live chat thingy. The lady dealing with me started the conversation with:

Oh I see. Thank you. There is no need to worry as I am always efficient with my job and I assure you, we can find a resolution for the issue or find the best options for you.

Reading a paper by the fire of a winters night in the Foggy Dew pub on Dame Street in Dublin.

I used to go in early when meeting mates just to have a couple of hours to myself like that over a pint of guinness.

You'll not find an actual Irish person in Temple Bar, True Fact that.

Prince Charles isn't Irish.

I was served by a real life Irish person in the Temple Bar pub so you are wrong. Then I saw just how strawberry floating expensive it was and moved to pubs outside of the centre of Dublin. :dread:

Well bar the barmen of course. I havent drank in Temple bar in years, Whelans/Dakota FTW. :datass:

The Foggy Dew is not in the heart of temple bar at all, its becide the central bank, they obviously want to say they are for the tourists but its not in temple bar, its near it though.

It's about 4metres away from Dame street and 200+ away from Temple Bar. A Dubliner would not say The Foggy Dew is in Temple bar at all.

Thank you for further proving that the pub is not on Dame St. and is instead nestled nicely inside the district known as Temple Bar.
