Nice going, Outrunner - it does feel great when someone takes the time to say that you've done a good job!

Went to the cinema to see Bumblebee, we had kids sitting behind us, and they were not bellends. Stayed quiet through the whole thing.

:) Thanks jawa. It's someone taking the time does makes a difference to my mood and outlook at work. Bringing me back some goodies from his holiday in Japan would have made a slightly bigger difference :shifty:

The weather these past few days. It's cold, gloriously, wonderfully cold. It partially makes up for the awful weather we had in the summer. This weather lifts my mood and brings out the best in me. I go out for walks, get up early to go running and I'm generally more productive. The only thing that's missing is snow. Ah well, I'll take what I can get. Long may it continue!

I literally cannot understand people who like the cold.

You can always put on more clothes if you're cold, but you can't peel off your skin if you're hot. Checkmate.

My life. I'm sat in 15C Malta, with a job that I'm really enjoying and enough... company... to keep me very satisfied.

Trying to avoid this just being a prick brag post but after suffering from severe depression for so long, I've just had the rap lyric going round my head for weeks that I used to dream about living now I'm living my dreams. Off to explore Greece on Saturday for a month and planning out further non stop trips for the rest of the year. Can't quite believe how fortunate I've been.

This is where my depression kicks back in tomorrow morning

I suffer with the heat, I have summer SAD, my depression really kicks in, my anxiety goes into overdrive. It drains me and at it's worst it makes my physically ill (vomiting).

This sums it up

You can always put on more clothes if you're cold, but you can't peel off your skin if you're hot. Checkmate.

Spring and Autumn are great, winter is amazing. I dread summer if it's too hot.

I'm a cold weather fan, but this is getting a bit much for me :slol:. I'm spending too much time shivering and trying to repair broken skin!

I love the cold, as long as it's properly getting on with it and is at an extreme. Walking around all wrapped up, crunchy ground under the feet, crisp air and clear skys

I've been on a few cold holidays to Canada, it was so beautiful. Knee deep in snow watching elk walk around in the woods right by the town, walking on a frozen lake, husky sledding, driving a snowmobile up and down a mountain (and rolling it at the top :fp:) then going skiing in the mountains

I've only just started closing my bedroom window at night. I sometimes think my body temperature is abnormally high

I'm with you on this! I walked up Mount Haguro about 3 years ago. It's only a small mountain but had the entire walk to myself. The snowy scenery was beautiful  My winter holidays in Japan have been some of the best I've ever had

I love both the heat of summer and the cold of winter! :toot:

More than anything though I think I appreciate the variety of weather that we get in the UK. Much as I love both cold and hot I think I would get tired loving somewhere that didn't experience a nice mix of both over the course of a year.

Really need to stop posting gooseberry fool like this, been staring into the abyss for weeks now.

Foals gig tonight and a few beers cheered me up for now though, desperately needed that.

I'm not a hockey buff but the sheer audaciousness of this goal made me smile. Incredible skill!
