It's lovely when, after seeing an almost endless supply of bad news (and then seeing it re-tweeted), you stumble across something that brings a little smile to your face .

Early mornings at the weekend.

It's cold but beautifully sunny, I've already been out for an hour's walk with the dog, I've had my breakfast, and it's still only just gone 8 meaning I've got hours and hours of guilt free gaming and music to enjoy

Echo this, I went out for a walk for half an hour and it was nice.

The cat has found a bit of the cristmas tree behind the fridge (the same bit he was playing with ages ago) and is running round life a lunatic attacking it and holding it in his paws.

I've become mildly obsessed with alpacas and how cute and fluffy they are

I held my newest nephew for the first time yesterday. He was born in June and a combination of health issues and coronavirus precautions had meant that such a thing was not possible before.

It was strawberry-floatin' amazing when he looked up and smiled .

I'm smiling because I've read that fans of some football clubs - including Newcastle and Leeds - have donated money to local food bank schemes rather than paying the high costs currently being charged by Sky / BT / football clubs for Pay-Per-View access to individual matches. Marvelous!

The fact that the location and colour my phone uses for the little "show/hide" down arrow when watching TNG on Netflix makes it look like I'm watching some kind of Star Trek X Terminator crossover!

Spotify shuffle just played Sparky's Dream by Teenage Fanclub That is all.

After ten long months, I am no longer impacted by sewage issues. I am smiling about it.
