Can we all just agree that the Xbox 360 is better than the PS3?

I understand that some of you have spunked a lot of your money on the PS3 and now feel that you have to defend it to the hilt, but if we all step back and look at it objectively, I'm sure we can agree that the 360 is the better console.

I have a PS3, I bought it at launch and have enjoyed owning it, it's a good console, currently I own about 10 PS3 games.

However, the Xbox 360 does seem to be better than the PS3 in pretty much every single way, other than Blu-Ray and a spattering of exclusives (which of course the 360's catalogue far outnumbers) there's not really anything I can think of that makes it a better games machine? Currently I have about 80 Xbox 360 games.

Am I wrong?

I love my PS3 as much as my 360 both consoles offer me the games I want to play. The 360 does have Star Ocean 4 coming so that alone makes it better than the PS3 for me

Well there's not a lot to say. You're right. It's hands down the best games machine. Media centre, no as it's far too restrictive.

The main con of the PS3 though is the price. Sort it out Sony.

You could of course counter by saying that if your Pro got RROD, you could go out and buy an Arcade for the same price as a PS3.

Nevertheless, even as someone who's suffered heavily at the hands of RROD, I still think the machine is far superior to the PS3, I imagine most 360 owners would agree, it's only the people who don't own a 360 that really see the three red lights as a major problem.

Yup. The piss poor comparative sales back this up. Sony's basically mimicking Nintendo's first three generations here; two overwhelming successes and two comparative failures. Sony's got another generation at the bottom of the heap and then it'll rise triumphant in the face of seemingly huge odds against it.
