Just found this legendary story of GR USA covering Sam_Seed's photoshop of me holding an "early copy of GTA IV" :slol:

If you go to page 2 the photoshops start rolling in from GR UK members and people who still post here to this day.

I’m actually amazed some of those are still up considering how sensitive social media can be to certain things. Isn’t one of those photos…Madeleine McCann behind bars?

That's not even the worst one. I'm also astonished the images are still hosted and on display on the proper GR website :lol:

If I remember correctly this would have come about a year after Future Publishing ended up on the front page of the Mail on Sunday for printing photos of a dead goat (or something like that) in the Official PlayStation Magazine. To be honest that was Sony's fault, but it resulted in the offending page having to be literally ripped out of the high-street version of the magazine. BY HAND. What a boring day that must have been.

Considering Future US had strawberry floated up both the main GamesRadar website and message board with the world's worst graphical overlay, they were actually great fun! Couldn't have that fun today though, you'd be fired.

Mid 2000s internet was WILD.

Great days back then, until they turned on us...
