LOL @ Eigthhours in the ResetEra thread outing the Edge editor by name and linking to his posts on rllmuk confirming the existence of this and some info about it.

No titans... In titan fall... But... They are in the title.

He's always been a regular poster on rllmuk from what I've seen. That place suits him more than here.

I'll give it a try, what with being a huge fan of the previous games. But no wallrunning or Titans, the strawberry float is that gooseberry fool.

It's kinda the 2 things that make Titanfall Titanfall. It's basically, I dunno, CoD now.

No Titans though, the thing that could have made it a really interesting take on battle royale? Supremely disappointing.

Love TF2, but really a Battle Royale game, the genre is so crowded I just wish they'd stop milking it.
I'll give it a try but with no Titans or Wall Running then it isn't really Titanfall.

Everyone go play it. I reinstalled it on PC and it remains the best shooter of the generation.

It's so good, I'd still play it if they had more interesting progression based stuff.

I just absolutely love the interplay between the infantry combat and the mechs. No other game has ever made me feel so cool.

Single Player TF2 was stellar. I love how each level tried to do something a little different. I'd probably agree with Taf that it's the best shooter (Campaign at least) of the generation.

The multiplayer is also excellent. I quit out before playing the PvE MP so had my first go these past few days...it's actually really fun.

From what I remember I think I preferred the Multiplayer in the first game. But it's been a long time since I've played either of them.

Ak, I never got to play the original, mainly as I had no interest in a MP only title at the time. If the MP really was better than TF2's it must have been amazing.

Multiplayer in the original was definitely a lot better. They made a lot of weird, unnecessary changes in this one that drew a lot of annoyance from the fan base after the beta which led to them slowly reverting stuff back to the way it was in TF1.

Nah, this is gooseberry fool. Should have just made a battle royale game.

Kidding obvs, anyone with PS+ who hasn't played this should absolutely get on it!

Very Destiny-esque. Change for the sake of change seems to have been a hallmark of this/last generation franchise games.
