Though our increasing prices over here due to the falling value of the £ will exacerbate matters.

It's ok you can probably appeal the decision against Mondelez.

I'd welcome a vote by the full board of Mondelez rather than just one person at the company making the decision based on a customer survey.

Only had one of these the other day. At least you won't need a clamp to break the last two parts in half.

How do you even 'try to insinuate' something? Write cryptic messages on single ply toilet paper and throw them out the window on a rainy day, hoping that someone will read them before they decompose?

I don't know what to say :dread:

Very sad. I've been on a Toblerone kick recently. Last night I drove to Dublin in my bare feet with all types of Toblerone with me.

Another brand to add to the gooseberry fool list, then.

And so many companies will be trying to use 'Brexit' as an excuse to raise prices, so we should get used to it.

Oh yay, the chocolate ration has increased! This will motivate us in our war against Eurasia. Hail Big Sister.

This has put all Mondelez / Kraft foods on the no fly list for me. No ifs, no buts, no exceptions. strawberry float 'em.

I already refuse to touch Dairy Milk because it's been changed and diluted beyond recognition so it's just a bit more awareness of their more obscure things that I need to do anyway.

What he said isn't a contradiction. The current chocolate shrinkage isn't anything to do with Brexit and it has been going on for years. Just look at Creme Eggs which have also shrunk, you get 5 in a box instead of 6, and they've changed the chocolate recipe to save money. Brexit (when it eventually happens) might make things worse but it's still going to happen anyway.

Chocolate has been shrinking for years. That post contained the most blatant contradiction possible though, I'm not sure how you can't see it.

It's a shame but I've never really rated dairy milk, it's not proper chocolate. Toblerone was always tasty, I never buy it but at least the recipe is the same, I assume.

Now that little issues like the US presidency are out of the way we can get back to discussing real issues like Chocolate. What amazes me about this Toblerone thing is that they way changed the whole look of the iconic bar and just for one country. It's a very odd thing to do, i just would have expected them to raise prices. I do wonder though, are they actually being clever. Chocolate sales are falling, we are becoming more health conscious. Maybe holding the price but shrinking the size of the bar is a clever idea in the long run.

Or maybe we are going to get Toblerone runs now to france like when we used to have beer runs to Calais.

With no free market, how many Toblerone's are you allowed in duty free?
