That fourth runner will feel like he’s let the team down there and he hasn’t at all.

EDIT: Was good work by the runner Kilty to point out that the guy's part of the fastest 4x100m relay team of all time and ran a great race. Reckon the guy probably needed to hear that.

Daley was just about leading at the half way point in this final but his fourth dive looks like he’ll have to settle for bronze.

I don't understand these cycling rules.

How come when the people who crashed in the Kieren get to go into the repercharge and the race is rerun for the others, when our woman who crashed earlier in the week was just dumped out and our team sprinters got binned off when the Danes smashed our guy to bits.

Denmark won the team pursuit because they literally caught up with the fourth British rider.

Losing this Madison right now.

The Omnium guy must be knackered. Having difficulty keeping up with people making assertive moves to try and win the Gold. Think we need to make a big 20pt attack.

He was our 3rd rider wasn't he. And by crashing they stopped us setting a time.

Sorry, yeah third. It doesn’t matter that Britain couldn’t set a time because you automatically lose if you’re caught/lapped. It’s a pursuit after all.

I thought setting a time could have gotten us into a medal race, but maybe not.

Our guys look utterly shagged here. Last 100 laps has passed us by unfortunately and we've been unable to respond and control the attacks like the women were able to do so brilliantly yesterday.

Australia have done well to get as close as they have done. They only have 7 silvers to their 17 golds, which is a great ratio. Although overall they're well behind in total medals.

Yes, very true, especially given the fact that they only have just over a third of the population of Britain. However the narrative in this household is definitely going to be that they are pathetic losers. :slol:

I think the last events have actually finished now, which is a shame. I’ve really enjoyed this Olympics.

That's almost unbelievably banana splitish. He should be disqualified, fined and have his participation formally wiped from the records.

At first I was wondering if it was entirely intentional but after watching it a few times he's definitely done that on purpose. That's probably the most egregious example of bellendery I've seen in sport off the football pitch. Outlandish work!

I watched the first hour before bed and Paula Radcliffe spoke for a good five minutes about fluid balance and water intake during marathons, so that noise she makes at the end there is one of genuine pain
