It's so good. I'd forgotten just how much I used to LOVE the tomb raider games, until after 3 and then for some reason I just never bothered with them.

I can't help but be disappointed that Revelations hasn't been included in this
Would've been a nice one to round off the collection, especially with that ending.

It's wild these games were turned out with only a handful of people back then. I wouldn't be surprised if the remaster has at least twice as many people working on it than the original games had back then while churning out yearly games

Even more impressive is the amount of them that came out in such a short amount of time. Felt like a game a year. You just wouldn't get that now with game budgets being the way they are. 1 game per generation and then endless remakes and remasters for all time.

Not only did they churn out a game each year, they somehow managed to do a GOTY expansion for each game on PC between major releases (the first 3 Tomb Raider expansions are coming with this release). Those poor strawberry floats must have been so burnt out

I remember 3 seemed to be a graphical step up from the first 2. Never finished it either, I’d moved on to Ocarina of Time.
I think they were able to use more triangular polygons or something because they dropped the Saturn which held the first 2 games back, which allowed for more interesting environments.

I just watched the gameplay video and even with the original textures it looks so good and clean at 1080p
It makes me wish some kind of effort was put in to the Metal Gear Solid release last year
and it was over twice the price of this
