Same, but I don't have a Series X yet. Nice to know I can't upgrade if I do get one though. :toot:

Oh damn, it do look nice though :datass:

Turned the adaptive triggers off. Whoever thought that giving the triggers resistance when you attempt a revert was a good idea needs flogging :|

So I paid the £10 to upgrade my Xbox version, I have to admit bar the much faster.loading and maybe smoother frame rate, I'm struggling to see any noticeable improvement. I mean maybe the difference from the One X to Series X versions is less pronounced but I literally can't see anything.

assuming.itsmjust my memory remembering the game looking.better than it did pre-upgrafe, I found a video comparing them on the One S and Series X and there's very little noticeable change. Maybe slightly higher res textures and shadows but barely noticeable.

Not sure if that's testament to how good it looked previously or just extreme laziness from Activision but considering they're charging for the upgrade it seems the most half arsed "upgrade" I've seen so far, maybe it's different for PS owners but for the Xbox version I wish I'd not bothered now .

Yeah, I’m not paying for such a mild upgrade, especially when most Series X upgrades have been free. But of course Activision have to pay Kotick his millions.

It's another up-yours to anyone who bought this originally, who now have to pay £10 to get this marginally improved edition, whereas those purchasing the PS5 version specifically will pay less for waiting.

How come the Xbox upgrade has a price tag? It upgraded for free on my PS5.

If you purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition, the upgrade is free. Those with a Standard Digital Edition or Collector's Edition on both formats have to pay.

Physical copies of the Xbox game apparently aren't upgradable to Series at all. You've got to purchase the game again.

Or you can just buy the physical PS5 version outright, launch date TBD: https://www.game.co.uk/en/tony-hawks-pr ... us-2850644

Aren't most PS5 games marked up quite a bit?

They are at first (by quite a lot), but I picked up Hitman 3 for 30 quid off eBay outlet yesterday and that only came out 2 months ago. Unless it's a 1st party game from Nintendo or Sony prices just crash these days.

Apparently some people are experiencing issues with the Xbox version of the game if updating their Digital copies to Series S/X, with it crashing on Start-Up (reminiscent of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War last year).

Temporary fix according to Windows Central:

In our own testing, it seems you can "fix" this by uninstalling the next-gen "upgrade" patch and reverting back to the Xbox One version of the game. To do this, press the hamburger (three-lines) button on your controller with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 selected, then go to Manage game and add-ons. From here, select the upgrade patch and remove it. You may also need to uninstall the THPS1+2 "Xbox Series X|S" client, and re-download the other non-Xbox Series X|S client instead. This is a temporary work around while we wait to see if Activision fixes the Xbox Series S/X version, which is a separate client entirely.

Rumour from someone who might know -

THPS 3+4 was planned by Vicarious Visions, didn't happen because the studio became part of Blizzard

According to Tony Hawk himself here: https://www.twitch.tv/andythps/v/150925 ... =a&t=8784s

He said that 3+4 was planned, Vicarious Visions got disbanded and became part of Blizzard, so the game didn't got made by them. Activision tried to find another studio but they couldn't find anyone good enough to make the game. Then Activision heard pitches for other THPS games by other studios and apparently nothing interesting enough
