Yeah I feel like if I play 5 any time soon, I'm going to have to just focus on the story and nothing else.

I hear Yakuza 6 is quite short?

I can't get 200 points in bowling in Yakuza 3. Just finished with 199 because I choked the last throw of the game. That was soul destroying.

It ended up being quite short for me because by the time you get to 6, you've seen all the side content the game has to offer 3x times before. The 'major' side campaign is Majima Construction, which feels a lot more shallow than the nightclub management sim.

It's very much a plot that feels more urgent than others, which means the side missions fall by the wayside a little.

Is that the same one that's in Kiwami 2? I never really got on with it, so I don't think I bothered finishing it.

Ah that's a shame, I might just skip over it.

Mind you, by the time I'm through 4 and 5 it'll probably feel fresh again.

Indeed! And anyway, it's a lot of fun to recruit to the cause through side missions etc, even if you don't play the actual shallow minigame.

Just under a year after asking this, I finally started it.

Kiryu seems to be in a spot of bother. I suspect this won’t be the last time.

He certainly has a penchant for mischief.
