Top 10 DS and Wii games of the year

Hi folks,

As many of you are aware, I write a blog about Wii and DS stuff, which can be found...well, there's a link in my sig. Over the next few days, I'm running a list of the top ten DS and Wii games of the year, and will be adding the links in here. Hmmmmm, I've seen Viva Pinata for £12.50, and now with the opinion of someone who's reviews I generally trust (largely due to TWEWY, Yakuza and Sheep, Dog 'n' Wolf) I shall have to pick it up. I've also seen Space Invaders and Advance Wars at the same price so temptation will likely get the better of me. And what is Air Traffic Chaos? I've never heard of it.

Never heard of Air Traffic Chaos. Sounds interesting, but I'm not a fan of strategy games so doubt I'd ever bother playing it.

Really hasnt been an amazing year for DS, hope it picks up next year. Having said that Layton is probably in my top 3 of all time best DS games, even if replayability isnt high.

Is Viva Pinata DS worth getting if I've never played the Xbox version(s?)?

Not sure about the Top Five Wii games. Though I've only played Brawl and Kart, neither online mind. But for my money I'd pick Brawl over Kart. But since the main point of it being above Smash Bros is because of the online multiplayer I guess I'm not in a position to complain.

Likewise I shouldn't say anything about Wii Music due to not playing it... but I just don't like seeing it sitting in the number two spot. :shifty:

A late reply but it absolutely is. It works really well with a stylus and is a very faithful port of the 360 original. Kudos to HoC for including it in his top 10 too 8-)
