Where's Jawa's flat, surely that should be near the top of the list?

I work in Peterborough now and it is indeed the worst place in Britain.

There used to be a house in Hartlepool which the owner had clad the outside in beer cans. That should tell you about what kind of place it is.

Boston should be up there with its racist residents. The only thing going for it are the nice eastern Europeans.

Depends on the beer cans, surely. Might be a quality pint, like a Fosters. Or Carling.

Luton is actually having a shitload of money spent on it after being left to rot for decades.

The best bit has to be the 1km train link between the airport and main station that's costing a cool £150m and must obviously be made from pure Nintendium.

Doncaster is really varied because it includes loads of the surrounding villages, like Bawtry where one of my sisters live is really nice and also Tickhill is ok but then you get the opposite with places like Edlington which has to be one of the worst places I have ever been.

Yeah, I get what you mean. I turn in to a TV programme called "Skint Britain" expecting to see stunning vistas and beautiful townscapes. They're skint because they spent all their money on massive houses innit.

Grew up around Blackpool and my folks still live 15 minutes away and yeah it's a shithole. Since they turned the Hounds Hill centre into a mall of sorts all the brand shops have moved inside leaving the majority of the pedestrianised old streets empty or filled with vape shops or kebab places.

The surrounding suburbs are in a terrible state with the majority of people living in poverty and petty crime is common. Unemployment is a massive problem as there simply aren't any jobs and those that exist are highly seasonal.

It's a terrible place, really. Such a shame.

Sounds like Birmingham, the city centre there has been heavily redeveloped in recent years.

Exactly, I thought it would be people having to make cut backs like having to choose between just having a gardener or a cleaner etc

A year or so after the 2008 crash my wife’s boss told everyone that he was making cutbacks due to his finances getting a bit tight. His example of cutting back was “I am going to reduce the gardeners hours”.

What a hero.
