suprised ghetto Slough is not in the top 10 as it is a shithole with a non existent high street all the big name retailers have gone

People I work with are always voting Digbeth for socials and I just don't get it. The only time I've really enjoyed it was ghetto golf, for which you have to give credit where it's due as it is a great setup. Although perhaps I simply went in with very low expectations.

I always much rather stay around the main central areas. Basically anywhere near Pigeon Park (does anyone know its actual name?) or the Mailbox/Brindley Place.

I've always known pigeon park as pigeon park. But it's real name is st Phillips square.

Living in Southend is probably being the worst place I've lived. It's certainly the most dangerous. Two people have been killed near the football stadium. There was a guy with a gun on top of the shops this weekend.

The shops along London road are mostly shut. The weird thing is there are some really nice areas. Along the sea front is well kept and there are a lot of nice houses there.

Digbeth Dining Club is pretty cool though, had some great food in there, even if it was utterly rammed.

That's where everyone seems to want to go. To me it just seemed a bit of a dump — the food good but not outstanding and the beer very expensive.

So not surprised Blackpool is on the list. Awful place to live, I hated it!

The council there only invests in the seafront, all the money goes to tourism as opposed to the people who live and work there.

I say live and work there because a huge amount does go to the people living there, because it's insane how few people work there.

Everywhere is just run down shoddy flats from shoddy landlords with shoddy tenants.

I've never been to Blackpool, but it looks like a trashier version of Brighton.
