I had plans to get them made into a proper deck of cards, but the prices I found online were rather prohibitive.

Then I am pleased to inform you of:

www.customstuff.co.uk

I've already had a couple of decks of Top Trumps made by them. It's an excellent service. Each deck is £19.99 plus a couple of quid postage.

That's the cheapest you'll find, I reckon.

Sorry there wasn't a game yesterday guys. Had some other stuff to deal with. May not be a game either tonight. With that in mind I've decided to release the entire right now. Probably should have done this to start with in hindsight.

So here we go, all forty eight cards from Series 1 for your viewing pleasure.

Chuffed with my card, only 7 cards beat it at more than three categories, and I can beat one or two card with anything

There's a better version of that where it goes on for about 5 minutes. I can't for the life of me find it in my documents though.

Can someone explain the rules to me? I'm having trouble understanding the first post.

When you pick a card and pick it's category (say, Humour) does your opponent know that you've chosen Humour OR does your opponent have to pick a card without knowing the category it will be judged on?

They don't know which category you've selected.

Both people pick the order of their cards a category for each one. Whoever goes first reads their first category and you compare the scores on the first cards of each player. The highest score wins and takes the card. For the next round, the second players second category is used and you compare the scores for that category on the second cards in each deck. This alternation of categories continues until the end of the round, with round length being determined by the number of cards in each hand (lowest number=number of turns).

Actually I'm not sure that's any clearer.

Western Regionals

Game 1

Hexx's cards will be on the left, Mr Plough's on the right.

Turn 3

Turn 4

Result

Hexx 6 - 2 Mr Plough.

Early indications looked like we would witness a white-wash, but Hexx's renowned weakness in Grammar means that Mr Plough takes it to a second round.

Game still in progress: PMs required from players

Hexx's deck now consists of Alkaline, Jimmy Shedder, JV, Shadow, SpaceJebus, and Mr Plough. He may reorder his whole deck any way he chooses and he picks categories on cards 1, 3, and 5.
Mr Plough's deck now consists of Hexx and Dark Dragon 64. He may reorder his deck any way he chooses and he picks categories on card 2.

Turn 4

Result

Pancake 0 - 8 Poncho.

D-D-D-Domination! Pancake was simply mis-matched against Poncho's deck. Unfortunately for our spectacle. Poncho progresses to take on the winner of Hexx and Mr Plough. PM required.

Game over: Poncho progresses and PM required.

Poncho deck now consists of Rog, Clarkman, Prototype, LewisD, puppetBoy, Poncho, JK and Pancake. He must choose 6 from these 8 to take forth with him into the next round. Then order his deck any way he chooses and he pick categories for all cards.

That was a message to all of you: mess with me and you're gonna get burned.

Edit: wait, how have I got Alkaline in my deck, Roon?

Thanks for playing, Pancake. But lady luck was not shining on you today.

In case I didn't inform any previous winners, they have to select 6 of the 8 cards that were present in their game and PM them to me in the same format as they did their initial deck (ordered with a category choice for every card). They will be facing off against the other winner in their region.

I'll send you my selection tomorrow.
