Finally managed to actually start a new game after several frustrated attempts at getting the game to recognise my on-screen keyboard.

In three lines or less, why is this better than Diablo 3?

because it has amazing pop culture references from 4ch*n /b/tardism to reddit. Remember that one dolan pic you thought was funny? This game has tons of Dolan.

Offline play, can choose your difficulty on the first run of the game, 66% cheaper, no auction house bullshit cluttering up the later levels, modding support promised, arguably better loot, higher difficulties are less of a grind due to the fact that you can play the equivalent to Inferno on your first run etc etc.

Well tried the demo a couple of nights ago, tried out an Engineer but it wasn't really cutting it. Haven't been on Diablo III in months, think the original launch crippled any enthusiasm I had for it but went back to it after the demo and was still frustrated by the occasional lag.

Been occupied so much with Borderlands 2 at the moment found it hard to really 'click' with Diablo III and this demo. But think I'll give it another shot tonight with either the Outlander or Embermage, I expect I'll fall in love with it once I give it a shot (and probably complete Borderlands 2 so it's out of my mind for a bit), probably buying this on Friday for payday.

Are there any deals for it, I know the £14.99 itself is a bargain in itself, may as well ask.

Outside of splitting a 4 pack (which works out at about £11.25), no real deals yet. However, the original quickly became a regular in the Steam sales circuit, and I wouldn't be too surprised if the sequel followed suit.

Finding this to be a bit too easy on normal, there's also far too much loot.

My Engineer is almost literally a tank.

I can undertand that, they are quite different from each other, the 1st was quite linear and you pretty much knew where to go and what to do at all times whereas this is more open ended and it's easy to feel a bit lost.

I can't say I understand that at all! The quests are always very clear and you have a huge pointer on your mini map to head towards- you just pretty much head in that direction, and you get there eventually. How can you get lost?

Should port the original to PS4 and Switch to build interest.

Bloody Hell! 7 Years to port this onto consoles? Took them long enough! I genuinely thought this was released years ago on console.
Turns out I made this thread 9 Years ago!! Where the strawberry float did the time go?

Feeling particularly mortal right now......
It's a good game chaps! Pick it up!

How does this differ from Diablo? It looks very similar but a bit less dark/violent.

I wanted to play this for so long, and still do, but there’s too much other stuff right now. It goes on the list.

I never played the original, is this a continuation of that games story or anyhting? Or is this basically it's own thing?
