So I can say "Black people are more violent, it's just statistics" (picked another alt right talking point at random) and I won't be banned? Those views will be "robustly challenged" in one thread then we'll go back to talking about videogames like nothing happened? How would you feel about that if you were black?

I can't provide a fair response to your question because I don't fall within any legally protected characteristic groups, so I haven't had the requisite life experience to make a sound judgment in such a hypothetical scenario.

If you're interested in it anyway, I would feel reassured that the bulk of the community I'm engaged with is so strongly opposed to such awful philosophy, particularly as it directly relates to me. But my answer is absolutely unreliable and I accept that if I were actually a black person then my reaction could be entirely different.

At the moment this 100% reads like trolling, you're not convincing anyone you're genuinely sorry for your ignorance or making any effort to learn more, you're just coming across as a dickhead.

Log off and do your "research" and maybe with a bit of reflection you'll understand why you've been reacted to so badly.

Nonsense KP. Disagreeing and having a different viewpoint to someone else =/= trolling.

Telling someone to go away and learn is ignorant as well.

Jesus. This is a discussion. If everyone was on the same page there's literally be no point.

1. Bigotry is not a "different viewpoint", you should be clear and call it out for what it is. 2. Being bigoted through ignorance is one thing, but arguing the toss about someone's tone while refusing to accept any of the ideas brought to you is just trolling. 3. I didn't tell Mommy to "go away and learn" as a first course of action - I am obviously happy to educate people, look at my posts in this thread - but Mommy said he was going to do that and what I meant was, if he's set on doing that, he should just go and get on with it as he clearly isn't taking other people's posts on board (you can tell by the way that they already answer his questions and he's ignored them).

The shooting event in the Olympics would be infinitely better if the participants could make use of skul-gun augmentations.

Then...why have you continued to post in here if you’ve been unable to read half of the posts directed at you, or that were being referred to in other people’s responses? That boggles my mind.

I can't tell if you were taking me a bit too seriously there or if this is banter, but cyberpunk is well known to be a dystopian genre, yes. :P

Saying that, it would basically be Robot Wars and that show rocked

Im sorry for my ignorance, 100%. Im not trolling.
Ill have a look at the stuff that lightwanderer and mic have suggested.
There is no need for me to "Log off" to do that.
If its okay to ask genuine questions then maybe you guys with the strong pro positions could tell me why this is the case?
Lets start again, huh?
Ill get more informed and better my understanding.

I think the issue is that in cases like skarjo's long post above you're not really engaging with any of the salient points.

My only potential kneejerk concern, and I think it's been addressed with necessarily very stringent regulations, is with trans women fighting in sports.

I have a mate (mtf) who is strong as a mummy strawberry floater. Doesn't lift but has greater strength than any of the many woman I've known (oi oi). I think one of Fallon Fox's opponents said the same and to be honest, I can believe it. I think it's the one field where you would want overly stringent regulations which can be lessened if necessary, to avoid any horrendous maulings which you can't undo once they've taken place.

Just a viewpoint from the sidelines;

1) The way you’re treating Mommy is pretty appalling. Even if you were all demonstrably correct, it would be no way to present the position and change someone’s mind.

2) You aren’t demonstrably correct. This subject is relatively new to society at large and we all have much to learn. Stop pretending to know that which you don’t, it makes you look arrogant and in combination with the lambasting Mommy is getting, is incredibly distasteful.
