Not been the best of times for me recently and feel i need a few days away from this place alone.

When are you thinking of going? What budget? Do you want a beach holiday or a city break? Culture or getting wasted?

Lol sony centre! No away from here. Feel pretty shitty, relationships not going all that great and everything feels crap. Even my diet and exercise have gone down the pan and i'm finding peace in playing games, which is a bad sign.

Oof. Sorry to hear that, gf. Yeah, in the past I've found that a break can help in that situation. It can bring in a bit of space and time so that you can think about how to tackle the causes of the problems.

Budget and tastes are gonna be a factor here, though. I'd be happy to stay at the Kent coast (or wherever) in a b&b for a couple of days and take in some sea air... but that may not be everyones idea of a good time.

Are you actually going to do it or just talk about it? If the former get yourself on skyscanner, from - nearest airport, to - everywhere. Pick one of the cheapest places, get yourself booked into a cheap hostel, strawberry float about. Good times ensue.

SE Asia could be a decent shout. Sometimes get return flights for about 350 and would be dirt cheap over there. You should probably think a little about what you want rather than just 'away'
