This is going to be on Sky Atlantic on 22 Feb. Need something to fill the void now that Breaking Bad's gone.

Even the intro is absolutely quality, had the tune stuck in my head all day and I don't even mind. Is it a song or is it just for the show intro?

The only thing I have bad to say about that episode is that in the final scene it seemed like Ginger was going along a little too willingly.

Pistol-whipped a couple of times and he's just doing as he's told while Cohle is holding his collar. No fighting back, stumbling or being pushed around. Granted, him being discovered by the locals would be really bad, but he'd just discovered the guy was a rat. He should be fuming, especially given Cohle obviously needs him, so can't kill or injure him.

I definitely wouldn't class it as 'family viewing' in the traditional sense. It's dark, bleak, uncomfortable but completely riveting viewing but if tha's what your family likes then yeah go for it.

Really enjoying the series so far it isn't a show that will deliver big action sequences it's all about the characters.

One of the best episodes of anything I've seen in a long time.

That final 7 minute long take was the best scene I've ever seen on TV. Wow.

I know season two is going to have a completely new cast but one problem I can see on the horizon is what an incredibly tough act McConaughey and Harrelson are going to be to follow.

I's really like to see someone like Josh Brolin or Joaquin Phoenix.

This may sound strange but I would love to see Chiwetel Ejiofor opposite Timothy Olyphant.
