I've still got my pre-order but I think I'm gonna have to cancel it, simply for cash flow reasons. I've been pretty skint since Christmas and £100 is a lot for something I probably won't play all that much.

Yeah, thinking about it, as much as I would love to have one I would probably play for half-hour and then put it in the cupboard... and cost-wise I shouldn't get one at the moment. Ho-hum!

I'm really disappointed as I've really been looking forward to it. Things have just been tighter than I would have liked right now and with Doom and a family birthday in March I can't afford the outlay.

I'm lucky in that my other half has preorderd it and I don't have to worry about the cash side of it it's just going to drop in my lap.

I have preorderd crossing and already paid in advance so sort of similar situation there.

I got everything I needed out of Animal Crossing on the GameCube and every one since then has been a reheated version of the same meal with a slightly different garnish each time.

Just cancelled my pre-order. I would like to play it as it'd be neat to check out a console that has almost mythical status here in the UK, but I can't get it right now.

Stick a reminder on Camelcamelcamel at whatever price you'd definitely buy one at (say £75) and then forget about it.

Just had an email from Amazon to say they don't know when it will be in stock (it was due out next Friday)

I ordered mine back in July last year, so don't know if this is affecting all orders or just mine.

Has anyone else had the same?

They announced it was delayed due to production issues (China & Coronavirus) a week or two ago.

I don't think they've said when they expect it now.

I'd already cancelled mine because I was skint, so it means I might be able to get it down the road.

SC, yeah, I read a few days ago that the console production/supply has been delayed due to challenges around the coronavirus pandemic. Initially early pre-orderers were going to get their systems on time but subsequently the issues have impacted all orders.

I'm glad of the delay, I'd have had to cancel otherwise (likely still will.)

Thanks chaps, good to know it isn't just me. I was worried I might have been overlooked even though I ordered it last summer.

I really don't want to, though I know how much I'll use it, but it's really cool and I really want it. I know my luck I'll cancel get enough money but it'll cost 10 million times more in a year
