Pretty flat presentation. Too much talking heads and not enough gameplay. Will be interesting to see how all of the games review.

More gameplay footage in the post show show. (No idea why this is a thing)

Hyped to play Sand of Time remake. Riders Rebuplic actually looks kinda neat. Other than that nothing really I cared for. I feel like they showing way too much of Legion now too.

Why does Sands of Time look so bad?

Immortal: Phoenix Rising might be the highlight for me tonight. What a gorgeous looking game.

Still most looking forward to Watch Dogs Legion, although I feel like they've been covering the same base concept (that of recruiting any NPC you find around London) ever since it was revealed and not a whole lot else.

Think I’ll be grabbing Immortals and Scott Pilgrim day one, Immortals looks so good and Scott Pilgrim is just awesome all round.

Watch Dogs I’ll pick up on the cheap, overall a lot better than the first Forward event

Graphically Prince of Persia looks rather very poor next to something like Uncharted or Tomb Raider. Needs a lot of work doing on it.

What’s happened to Beyond Good and Evil 2? And why are they stubbornly not making a new Splinter Cell?!

I have a feeling BG&E 2 is a lot further out than we realised, 2022 at the earliest? That’s if it doesn’t get canned

I don't think there's a more boring games company than Ubisoft and they did their very best to prove that tonight.

This was great for me

- Scott Pilgrim is my second favourite beat em up, only recently surpassed by River City Girls. I still have it installed on my PS3 so I wasn't in the situation of many of being unable to even get hold of it anymore, but I am still jumping at the chance to play it again - especially as I never played the DLCs and can have it portably on Switch!
- R6 Siege is my main online multiplayer game that I play with friends so it's great to get confirmation of a free upgrade on PS5. In general the ongoing support just continues to be excellent.
- Riders Republic is absolutely a Steep sequel (you can see Steep assets everywhere in it) expanded to more than just winter extreme sports, and I absolutely loved Steep - I've played it for hundreds of hours. The vastly expanded multiplayer sounds great, especially with the downhill battle royale style elimination race thing. It definitely looks to be leaning into the chaotic side of Steep, which means I'll probably miss the slower, isolated, man-on-a-mountain peaceful side of that game, but I don't think it'll be lacking given everything else. That's day one for me.
- I'm pretty excited for Watch Dogs Legion given the London setting, and the central character-swapping mechanic is still sounding very cool to me. I don't care about Aiden though having not played the previous games.

Rather looking forward to that Racer Rebellion game, reminds me of a semi-sequel to Steep which was a fantastic and rather overlooked title.

It's the same studio (Ubisoft Annecy) and the snowboarding/skiing/paragliding/wingsuiting/rocket suit all look identical to Steep, plus it has the same Red Bull and X Games collaboration. I think we may as well consider it a sequel in all but name.
