Can't believe they're going ahead with this what with the allegations of abuse and resulting high level executive resignations making it over to the regular news. Priorities, eh.

They've become a very scummy company. Even before the allegations they are amongst the worst for micro transactions, XP boosters and padding in games.

They'll com out today and say we are learning and people will clap and nothing will change.

Wish my image sig would work

EA get the brunt of microtransaction criticism but at least in stuff like FIFA it is isolated to Ultimate Team. Ubisoft let it pollute their single player games.

After being disappointed with the leaked Valhalla gameplay, the only game I’d be interested in from Ubisoft now would be a Mario & Rabbids 2 and if they ever get around to porting the Ezio collection to Switch but that’s very unlikely at this stage sadly.

I haven't seen anything about these allegations/resignations, did I miss a thread? Any link?

I have always enjoyed the ubi E3 show and have been looking forward to this. I want to see more of Gods and Monsters, I'm interested in Watch Dogs and Valhalla, and I remain excited for Beyond Good and Evil 2's 2030 release date.

I don't agree with the game-ruining criticisms of microtransactions etc. I've got back into R6 Siege recently and it's still brilliant. I still have Steep installed and play it from time to time. Also in the last few years we've had games like Starlink and Mario + Rabbids which were very good and excellent respectively.

I enjoyed my first foray into Trackmania with Turbo so interested in seeing that too.

What I really want are more games like Grow Home - 5 years out and one of my favourite games of the last decade.

Actually I’d forgotten about God and Monsters, that looked alright from the first trailer.

Mostly just here for Watch Dogs and the surprises that might come out. I'll probably just have the pre-show on in the background of whatever I'm doing and tune in the for main presentation.

this is basically just how triple A gaming operates
the video consumer by and large doesn't give enough of a gooseberry fool so these companies continue to make larger profits every year and escape meaninful scrutiny

Have we seen anything of Skull and Bones since it was announced? I’m thinking it’s quietly been cancelled, or if it is still going ahead they’ve put a single player mode in as it was pretty much all multiplayer wasn’t it?

Would love to see Gods & Monsters here but I don’t think it’s actually going to be at this event (the devs said to expect news in late summer)

Some new Ubisoft/Nintendo collab game would be nice, nothing has been rumoured AFAIK

No way I'm watching this after reading the gooseberry fool Ubi have been up to. I don't see myself buying another of their games unless they confront this and heads roll. I wouldn't feel right.
