Ooh 12th December, I’m not at work until 3pm the next day. Could stay up until the early hours to watch the country collapse into the grip of a depressing Tory and Brexit party coalition.

So, for the sake of our country, who is the best one to back? I’ll be completely honest, I don’t do politics but this Brexit farce has caused a lot of issues and upset for people I know : /

It depends on your constituency. If you want to stop Brexit, you'll want to stop the Tories winning more seats, so vote for whichever party has the best chance of defeating the Conservatives in your constituency.

What do you want to happen?

If you want Brexit then you’ll want Tory or Brexit Party.

If you don’t want Brexit then you want Labour/Lib Dem/Green/SNP/Plaid.

You’ll need to check previous results in your constituency to see which parties actually have a chance (Wikipedia can tell you the previous results).

For example if you want Labour but the previous results are like this:

Tory - 10k votes
Lib Dem - 8k votes
Labour - 2k votes

It’d be a waste of time voting Labour, go Lib Dem if you want to vote against Brexit.

If it’s like this:

Labour - 12k votes
Tory - 2k votes
Lib Dem - 500 votes

Then you know Labour will win, vote for whoever you want.

All the above parties and numbers can be switched around of course depending on what your views are.

If you check this you can find out the results of the last general election for your constituency:

Conservatives for me. No way corbyn should be pm and lib dems won’t win anyway, although I wouldn’t mind them in power for a change.

They were in power just over four years ago.

Cheers all, I want to stop Brexit preferably, looking at my local votes previously, my best bet is going Labour (Last time though it looks like Torres won by quite a few thousand votes)

I wouldn’t call carrying a Tory prime ministers bags around for a few years being in power.

Tactically it looks like I will have to vote labour. Would rather go Lib Dem though currently. However they hardly featured at all in the last vote where I am.

I'll be voting Labour yet again. My constituency is Labour vs Tory. I feel it's a safe Tory seat but I'll do my bit for the revolution.

That sucks but there’s a chance the other parties will stand aside for Labour and that the Brexit Party will take some Tory votes.

I'll vote Green unless an actual split between the Tories and Brexit Party is projected, then I'll vote for whoever might come closest to ousting my MP, which would likely be Labour.

They had power, and they chose to use it to carry around Tory bags.

I'm in Sajid Javid's constituency. It doesn't get more Tory safe seat than this.
