Isn't there such a thing as Reddit gold? They'll just require card details for that, job done.

The government have already said they going to look at sites that arn't mostly porn later to tighten on the rules so it'll work for a bit.

Oddly enough I've never actually considered Usenet as a source of porn.

If someone's going to know, I'd much rather some random Chinese company with no direct power over me knows I visited PornHub than the UK government.

My worry would be people working in security sensitive roles. You get asked about porn habits when getting clearance because of the potential for blackmail. If the state doesn't know about them so grants you clearance but a Chinese company does, that's potentially dangerous.

Fair point, that would be a worry for people in that position.
