Britbox is a subscription service anyway. Can't see it lasting long because, in all honesty, who is paying to watch all of the gooseberry fool that's currently scheduled for it?

Thoughts on the most recent Inside Number 9 episode being the worst of any across all series?

Really hoping for a strong last episode tomorrow, as it's felt like quite a weak series overall.

It's a BBC two dark comedy written and starring a couple of the League of Gentlemen actors/writers. Every episode is a self-contained 30 minute short story loosely connected to the number 9 and often with a twist or sting in the tail. The standalone format of the show allows for the creators to experiment and try new things so you never know what to expect with each new episode.

They are all on iplayer and Netflix and can be watched in any order. I just rewatched S04E03 (Once Removed) a couple of days ago, I think that is a great one to start with.

It wasn't great but And The Winner Is... and Zanzibar are comfortably still my least favourite episodes. As for the series as a whole, I think it's about on par with the last one. It's always been quite a hit and miss show for me, as is the general nature of anthology series, so as long as they get two episodes out six to be excellent I'm satisfied.

Love's Great Adventure was one of the best in the series' history I felt. Tonight's episode will hopefully be good, they tend to save their creepiest, most typically horror episodes for last.

I really enjoyed Hotel Zanzibar! Good shout on And The Winner Is though, that's definitely right down there.

Drummy, you should definitely give it a go. Solid first episode recommendation from Sat.

We are catching up on the latest series now and I agree on this episode, it was absolutely brilliant. Not quite The 12 Days of Christine, but I don't think they'll ever top that.

How about Hotel Zanzibar? That's the real Marmite tie-breaker... personally I thought it was excellent!

These would be my top 5 Inside No 9 episodes, in no order

12 Days of Christine
Love's Great Adventure
The Riddle of the Sphinx
A Quiet Night In
To Have and To Hold

Special mentions to Sardines, Empty Orchestra, Cold Comfort and Diddle Diddle Dumpling.

I haven't seen the last 3 episodes of Season 5 yet however.

No sign of Bernie Clifton's Dressing Room? :| Dead inside. Check your pulse!

Spoiler in case you don't want to see my single emoji summary of the three episodes you have left to watch:

Currently enjoying SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Seeing celebs being dragged across the floor and regularly beasted is always good fun.

Anyone else watching Normal People?

The Mrs wanted to watch it and we’ve just ended up binging four episodes so I guess we’re into it.

It’s a little romantic drama about these two Irish kids who go off to college and their stories but we’re already so invested in the characters it’s ridiculous.

Anyone watching The Terror on BBC? I know it was on in the US ages ago so some may have already seen it.

I'm about half way through; it's good, but not overly scary. More a sense of foreboding. Tbh, I was expecting more terror than just the name of the boat! Still, maybe that's yet to come...

Britain’s Favourite 90s Toys is on Channel 5 tonight at 8pm, and then My5 thereafter.

A countdown of the best loved toys and games from the decade, including those that defined the decade such as the Sony PlayStation, the Nintendo Game Boy, Tiger’s The Furby and Bandai’s Tamagotchi.

Is that a repeat or new show?

TV listings says new, but Channel 5 does have a habit of repackaging repeats, adding 5 minutes worth of new content, and slapping a new name on it.
