Played the first 2 chapters of this last night. Fantastic looking game, although why does Chloe look so different now? Doesn't feel like the same character to me, not that it matters of course.

I really wish naughty dog would drop those strawberry floating rooftop chase sequences though. They're totally frustrating if you take a wrong turn and could easily be done with a cutscene and you wouldn't lose anything imo.

I haven't started this yet. Chloe looks different in this game because Naughty Dog gave her part Indian ancestry and so they retconned her appearance to now reflect her ethnicity. She was the pin-up girl of Uncharted 2 and I'm happy for her story to be expanded but disappointed that Naughty Dog felt the need to change her face that we had got used to.

Got the game and the code. It's the PS2 version of Jak and Daxter, which seems like a bit of a missed opportunity. Still a classic, though.

Enjoying it but this chapter 4 (I think)is going on far too long & now I'm stuck on this now and arrow puzzle. Bigger doesn't alway make it better.

Edit: done the puzzle :toot:

I found chapter one disappointing. Though this was down to reasons such as my being gooseberry fool (I didn't do the reveal trailer roof fight justice) and superficial niggles. (She wasn't wearing the scarf!)

I find it to be more sharper than the PS3 version, perhaps a bit more smoother.

Which I don't expect at all seeing it's a PS2 emulation!

This is damn good. Visuals look as stunning as ever, maybe even more so this time round. Loving the interaction between Chloe & Nadine, definitely as much humour as previous games.

I'm a fairly new PS4 owner and wondered if anyone could recommend to me the Uncharted games I should be playing and the ones I can miss.

I've heard that some games are a lot better than others and I'd like to cherry pick if I can.

Was thinking about maybe 4 and this new one and maybe just catch up on the story through Wiki or something?

Mmm... my opinion, I think you should play all five to be honest and every each one have good and bad too, but I can understand it'll be long hours to play all. I am finding it difficult to skip any one of those Uncharted games because most of them are great to play.

If you only have one Uncharted game to play, it's the second one.

I loved them all to be honest. It's one of my favourite game series. And I find replaying them on the most difficult level is more satisfying.

All of them. No point missing out on any (maybe 3 if you have to) first game is an introduction to Nate and Elena, 2 would introduce Chloe who is also in 3 and one of the main characters in Lost Legacy.

Having played through all of them for the first time recently, I'd say don't skip any. They're all brilliant games and you can pick up the remastered collection of the first three at a fairly reasonable price.

I think you'd be missing out if you jumped in at 4 and read up about the previous ones.

Just play 4 it's the best one. The collection they released showed how much the first 3 have aged.

All games are essential, they may have aged in their own ways but they're fantastic adventures and I don't know why you'd willingly ignore them.
