Heroes was awesome, the last series was pants but had an amazing step for the next one but got canned which was a shame as I really think had that series been made it would have been outstanding.

Nah, Heroes was trash after series 1. Still can't think of anything that shat the bed quicker and harder than that show

One of the best TV shows ever made. Brilliant from start to finish. I’d add Agents of SHIELD to that list.

How about music? I’d call English singer Frank Turner one of the best song writers this country has ever produced. His live shows are absolutely brilliant. He recently became the only foreigner to perform in all 50 US states in the space of 50 days. But hardly anyone has ever heard of him.

Fringe was great in Seasons 1-4, but Season 5 just went off the rails and was practically a totally different show.

Oblivion (tom cruise).

A great sci-fi flick which is now barely remembered.

I thought they were an effective team.

This.

Really wish the films went in the direction the show did.

I've seen Oblivion twice and didn't like it on either occassion. It's very derivative stuff.

12 Monkeys the TV series.

This was criminally underated because Sci-Fi channel did bugger all advertising for it in the UK.
It was a great time travel story with some outstanding episodes and an extremely well done long term story.
Unusually for a Sc-Fi series it also managed to have a satisfying ending where the story actually got a decent time to close and I loved it.

I ended up having to buy the dvd's from the US because it wasn't available anywhere legally in the UK because Sci-Fi UK didn't have the bloody rights to what was at the time the most expensive TV show in the channels history.

Have you seen the Terry Gilliam film, and if so how does it compare? It's one of my favourite films.

The series takes the idea of the film and just expands it to show you the future and how the people sent back are affected and effect the timeline.
I enjoyed the film but the series is better just because they have time to flesh out an entire future setting and cast of characters.

It's honestly well worth giving it a try as the story really does evolve and grow nicely and I think you'll enjoy it.

Maybe it was just me then, but i really liked the world created in that film, and the story was neat too.

Another underrated film i think is Dude, Where's My Car? It's stupid, it's ridiculous, it's trashy, yet i love it.
