Golf: US Masters. Rahm dons the green jacket in style.

Fed up talking videogames? Why?

Very sad news. What a voice. He was a large part in my enjoyment of watching golf.

Great win for Mickelson. Held his nerve on a very challenging course. Won me 75 quid too.

Was genuinely gutted to see Mickelson win that, he's horrible.

Is he?

For anyone that's maybe got a golf game itch off the back of all this golf, PGA Tour 2K21 deluxe edition is £19 on the PSN store at the moment. I quite fancy a change from the endless dulling effect of FIFA career mode.

Yep, horrible probably isn’t the right word but he’s not as likeable as his image would have you believe. Here’s a story about the seemingly endless point shaving and gambling scandals he’s been involved in. He made $1m off a tainted stock tip and had to pay all the money back:

https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/ ... e.amp.html

This absolute disaster of a comment from 2015:

https://archive.thinkprogress.org/pro-g ... 2bd0a8a76/

Mouthing off about taxes(granted this one isn’t necessarily bad in itself, just indicative of his shitty attitude):

https://www.forbes.com/sites/peterjreil ... -dumb/amp/

And to finish it off, I can’t find any specific articles going through the two or three different times he’s done this but he’s been known to actually cheat by stopping a moving ball, hitting a moving ball, etc. He’s intelligent enough to know that this is a *massive* no-no and I think it’s been long suspected that it’s linked to the points shaving stuff.

I also can’t remember off the top of my head but I am sure he did something really twattish at the Ryder Cup in 2018 when he gave up the tournament winning point?

Watched a little but as it was obvious we were going to heavily lose I tuned out.

Record defeat I believe 19-9!

Rory doing well. 3 shots off the lead after 2 rounds. Still galling that BBC no longer have the rights. Tiger had a fantastic send off yesterday. Very emotional for his last appearance at the old course.

He's confirmed the mullet is sticking around.

Didn't rule out jumping ship to LIV though.

I was hoping either he or McIlroy would win, I was not disappointed. I will be very upset if he jumps to LIV though.

Haven't seen it confirmed for definite, but according to The Telegraph the BBC won't be bidding for the highlights of The Masters this April, meaning you'll either have to purchase Sky Sports (at the new rate of £40.99 on NOW for 1080p) or hope someone else picks up the highlights. Maybe Sky will come to another deal with a terrestrial channel or something.

Another big sports loss.

Has anyone else seen the golf equivalent of Drive to Survive on Netflix? Annoyingly not also called Drive to Survive, it's Full Swing.

Hilarious editing in episode 3, Ian Poulter's going on about having to seriously consider signing up to LIV because he needs to look after his family while footage plays of him flying in a private jet and at his mansion where he's got a walk-in wardrobe which looks like a clothing store.
