I legitimately can't tell if this is parody or not.

It's a deepfake talking about deepfakes. Sassy is Peter Serafinowicz and Trey Parker's in there too.

I'm just disappointed that he removed all the previous Sassy Trump videos from the channel and replaced it with this.

Wow

These two are quite close in the polls, but Perdue (the crooked Republican) is expected to win. :fp:

Guessing third part y voters (libertarian/green/independent) are going to be lower turnout this year and are probably voting for biden.

Beside they each need 5% of the overall vote to get federal funding.

The entire barrel is rotten. Throw it out and begin again - with 2-3+ year degrees as a mandatory minimum qualification, much higher funding for education, social services, etc., a program for dispatching social workers and mental health experts to calls to reduce police presence, enforce police living in the communities they serve, no militarization, no qualified immunity, etc.

Anything less is going to lead to the same old gooseberry fool.

The Trump Show 3 part series on BBC just aired the 3rd episode. Very well produced documentary.

I'd never come across "Sharpie-Gate". :slol:

I love you.

It’s my biggest pet peeve when people say ‘it’s just a few bad apples’ to suggest a problem is isolated/minor. The entire point is a few bad apples spoil the entire batch/contain

I would have you babies if you asked me

So they're now at the point where, if left unchecked and figures remain as they are, they're losing 1% of their population per year, with another 1% being infected every month. But it's alright, it'll all blow over.

And Alvin's right, yeah. A complete systematic rebuilding of the US police force from the ground up is the only way they can be sorted out at this point. The bad apples have spoiled the barrel and the police can only blame themselves for the criticism they're receiving. If it costs them all their jobs, they all need to take a long, hard look at themselves.

Well we'll just add it to the list of enormous entrenched institutions that desperately need top-to-bottom reform

Trump has hardened support around a very narrow base in this election and I'm really quite worried about what will happen if the result on Tuesday doesn't go his way.

As an aside, I am genuinely interested in the idea of police nationalism and the growing schism between officers in the United States and the people they claim to represent, serve and protect. Sadly I'd need to do about a year's worth of reading to even get near a coherent opinion on the subject, and then another two years of field interviews with police and campaigners, then another year or two of synthesising all the data into some kind of research report, but strawberry floating hell it is an interesting subject.

Of course, you'll never see a systematic breaking down and rebuilding of the police in the USA, because no president would have the stones to do that and risk cutting off such the large(mostly white) proportion of the electorate who still supports police actions.

That’s not a ‘blue lives matter flag’, that’s the American ‘thin blue line’ flag. The same as the one originally used in the UK. However in the US some are trying to hijack it for political purposes though. Unfortunately they appear to be succeeding.

In the UK it is solely a charitable organisation.
