Pretty much.
What could she possibly have done to warrant an arrest? About the naughtiest thing most 6 year old's get up to is pulling someone's hair or calling someone a Poopyface which really doesn't need to have police involvement.

I know I know but Republicans are trying to make it so.
How dare you say North Korea isn't democratic they just really really love the people in charge is all just like we loved Tony Blair when he was our dear leader.

I hated Blair, but I would take him back RIGHT NOW compared to the last few PMs we’ve had. :dread:

Yep, we almost had the best PM ever in Nick Clegg but he was only given the job of deputy PM.
Poverty, famine and want would all have been eradicated had he become PM but alas we chose wrong and we're never going to get First Contact with aliens now because they know we snubbed such a genius.

You joke but it would have been easy for him to out Lembit Opik.

By the way Trump is suing the New York Times.

There’s a deep sorrow, for example, when he reflects on the voting habits of West Virginians. These people who were hit hardest by DuPont’s pollution, and the fallout from deregulated industry, were also the ones who gave Donald Trump the highest vote share of any state (68.5%) in the 2016 election. “I think it’s a grievance position,” he says. “I haven’t been convinced that the Trump voter is policy-motivated. There’s a lashing-out here, a cultural sense of retaliation against an elite which they feel minimised and overlooked by, and a professional class of experts and know-it-alls. It’s sad, and there seems to be something comparable in the UK: this anti-immigrant sensibility and feeling of contempt for an identified ‘other’ who can be used as scapegoats.

“Look, that’s always been available; it’s not like some political skill. People talk about Trump’s savviness. Even people who hate him will say, ‘Oh, but he can really read the culture. He really knows how to manipulate.’ No! You just go to the lowest common denominator. It’s easy! And it’s always been an option. What’s really frightening is how global it is.”

About the forthcoming US election he is sure of one thing: the need to fight at all costs. “What I can abide the least is when liberal friends of mine have this almost sophisticated defeatism about Trump.” He affects a languid drawl: “‘Oh yeah, of course he’s gonna win again.’ And I’m, like, ‘No. No. You cannot even say that. You can’t think that.’ It becomes in some ways collaborationist. You are letting it happen. You have to work and believe and stand up for every last thing.”

Looks like Biden is back in the race with a win in South Carolina. Long way to go still though.

It will be interesting to see just how insane the claims of socialism and communism from Trump and his supporters get if Sanders is selected.

Sure, Sanders is more left wing than most but he's in no way a socialist or communist but for many Americans simply wanting a minimum wage that isn't piss poor and half decent workers rights like not being able to be fired for no reason after being at a company for 20 years is loony leftist propaganda.

I also can't wait for the number of people who say they'll leave the US if he becomes President only to say they'll go somewhere in Europe or Canada which is much much more Liberal than the US.

He has left wing ideas but is not a real socialist.
He wants the government to help people and higher taxes but that's as far as it goes. The problem is the US right has shifted so far right that they see even middle of the road ideas as loony left.

I really wish people would direct his previous tweets at him and ask him why it was different for Obama
