While I'm not a fan of Boris I wouldn't put him in the same category at all.
Trump is an old fashioned, screw you entrepreneur who has zero empathy for those he employs and thinks profit (mainly his profit) is the only reason people are alive. He'd rather shut a company down than have to pay maternity leave and somehow some people back him.
It's fascinating to me to see so many Americans actively voting and canvasing for worse working conditions just so the already ultra rich can get more money on the theory that if we give them enough they're bound to eventually spend some or employ people.

Those same people hate the idea of royalty but what they are creating is a class of ultra rich who make any historical royal look like a pauper.

Boris is really an evil person. He doesn't give two gooseberry fools about the truth and will just say anything to try and become PM.

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.

The Atlantic has done a huge article of the 50 unthinkable things Donny has done as President. The sheer volume is just incredible.

Certainly you’re entitled to that point of view, but do you have reasons as to why you believe that to be the case?

I’m always wary of making blanket judgements about conservatives because I think it plays into the hands of somebody like Trump who wants to encapsulate that siege mentality, weaponise it, and turn it against the liberal mindset. He’d sooner accuse liberals of being intolerant than recognise that in himself. And ultimately, I think it leads to the kind of tit-for-tat partisanship that is currently tearing the United States apart.

Is the volume...50? I'm guessing it's 50.

Republicans have actively fought against planned parenthood, gay rights, climate change policies, immigration of any kind, human rights, universal healthcare and gun control.
All of that while at the same time championing, racial division, gun rights, tax breaks for the wealthy, caging of children, undermining the FBI and fueling numerous conspiracy theories from Uranium One to a 'deep state' with no evidence at all.

I have no problem with blanket statements, I don't agree with democracy now either because people in general are strawberry floating stupid. If someone self identifies as a Republican, in my eyes they are border line mentally retarded.

I did, because more the majority of them:
- Are not republican,
- Want gun control,
- Want Universal health care,
- Disagree with the current immigration policy,
- Want money out of politics,
- Disagree with tax breaks for the rich,
- Aren't racist

My Issue with people deriding "Americans are mental lol" is that the majority of them aren't, and aren't republican. There is no hypocrisy in that statement.

Blanket Statements are fine when I agree with them.

Find me a Republican that wants gun control, wants to fund Planned Parenthood and doesn't support Donald Trump's policies and I'll retract what I said.

I don't label the entire UK as idiots because of Brexit, I label the brexiteers idiots though.

Rather classic deflection of burden of proof.

"I'm gonna think this. I'm not gonna evidence it because...duh...it's obvious. It's up to you to prove me wrong"

How very Republican of you ;)

I agree with Photek, not all Americans are arseholes but Republicans are. Even if they are personally decent people, they tip over into arsehole territory due to their support of a monstrous party.

I literally haven't changed my point at all. I generalized then, and am now. Making a blanket statement about Republicans is not the same as calling an entire country a Sh*thole.

They voted against all of that when they voted in Donny.
