WASHINGTON — The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, has delivered a report on his inquiry into Russian interference in the 2016 election to Attorney General William P. Barr, according to the Justice Department, bringing to a close an investigation that has consumed the nation and cast a shadow over President Trump for nearly two years.

Mr. Barr will decide how much of the report to share with Congress and, by extension, the American public. The House voted unanimously in March on a nonbinding resolution to make public the report’s findings, an indication of the deep support within both parties to air whatever evidence prosecutors uncovered.

In a letter to the leadership of the House and Senate Judiciary committees, Mr. Barr wrote, “I may be in a position to advise you of the special counsel’s principal conclusions as soon as this weekend.”

Trump’s going to have an absolute field day with this.

The news of the report being finalised probably explains why Donny has been particularly unhinged lately.

I wonder how they will phrase it so that they can try and completely bury the report if it's devastating to Trump while also claiming that it completely clears him.

I hope congress goes all out to try and force the reports full disclosure whatever it says.

Half expecting the released report to be redacted as strawberry float. I hope it won't be.

Yes, they did.

I really hope it says Trump is actually only worth about £8.50 as I think that would crush him more than being convicted of any crime.

That was non-binding though I think.

The tone from the left leaning press is rather dispiriting, full of 'buts' and 'even thoughs'. Mainly as Don Jr and Kushner weren't indicted, despite being at the Russia meeting.
